Noob Question!! Hc itens are better ?

There is no difference in gear drops between Hardcore and Normal. It is simply a different league where if you die you get placed in normal.

I already have 2 characters in default league at lvl 30-ish but i wasnt really happy with the builds.
So i just rerolled on hc with this build and im now lvl15.. and i like it so far and i already got some okay gear going and i got my first unique drop, gotta love those 36% elemental resist to all :D
This is my gear so far

Will post again when i get a higher lvl ;)

I'm glad you like it :)
I've got balls of steel
Im liking this build.. this is my 3rd time remaking a 2h templar, but this one is just awesome im lvl 33 now. Im following your 2h templar LS build, for me i like to spam my skills alot. and im thinking of sacrificing my dps or resistant for mana regen, is this a good idea?

Hope you keep updating this Forum...

Nice to hear! Yes you can try to switch into manatank but I haven't gone thourgh that kind of build so I can't say. If you can't manage it, you can always respec :)

Im stuck at level 49, not because of bad build, but coz im on a seminar lol.
Have to wait 1 week before i can play again.

But reading the posts if still fun.
BTW for those using the build you will notice we have
just enough intelligence to use some skill gems AND maces (scepters)
that require intelligence (e.g)

Note that scepters are the ones with increase in elemental damage.
(10% elem damage is better than stun duration imo)
As a consequence of having low int,
This means our Energy shield is basically small to give us any significant defence.

Although it will only be really needed midgame (just about when u enter act 3 cruel)
you will need to buy High armor gears.
Downside is youll be walking slow (unless you get shoes with high armor and inc move speed)
Thats why Armor master (ignore movement penalties) become handy

SO wud be good to start saving orbs to buy high armor gears.

btw at lvl 49, my lightning strike DPS (with all buffs added) reached 750
i havnt gotten the inc in phys damage near the marauder area
since i went straight for unwavering stance. (Mainly coz i hate the monkeys in act 2)
Now their not a bother...

Thanks to the author of this build,
it shows this build solves a lot of possible problems of our
Tank Armored Templar LS life draining build

Have fun!!!

N.B. Hi, anyone know of a good level 60 unique 1h mace?
Pls site some, if can post a pic and stats. tyvm
(found the wiki, seems only 2 unique mace, none of them is over lvl 50, sad)

Thanks for the wonderful tips :)

I was just planning to save alot of orbs to the time when I'm gonna struggle too much with my bad gear x) Going straight to unwavering stance too, then for Golem's Blood nodes.

Tried HC with my latest character (Cold caster Shadow), got to lvl 28 and died like an idiot on Vaal boss (was trying to face tank him...got cocky) -- but once you go HC, you can't go back imo, so I'm going to give this Templar build a shot for my next character.
Hey there,

I have a question concerning the lightning strike gem. You write on your post that we should get either fork or LMP with lightning strike gem, but those gems require alot of DEX, and in your talent build there are no points what so ever added in dexterity nodes. Just curious what you had in mind, it is kind of inefficient running around with only lightning strike that is pretty bad without any attached gems.

Good question. This depends on the situation. I was thinking to get dexterity from rings or armour pieces to fill up required dexterity to use gem I need. However those are not mandatory, they are nice perks to have but Elemental Damage gems are fancy too.

By the way, theres 1 point of dexterity added in the build, to be exact x)

Thanks for the quick reply.

I currently have the elemental damage gem, but I am also looking for something to make my attack more AOE-ish. How much dex do you have on your templar? and what gems did you attach to lightning strike?

Thanks
