Well, I typically don't buy anything else but minimum 4L gear. :)

But yeah, hybrid boots with massive armor + ES + high life, 25-30% movement speed, and tri-res would be rather ideal. :p

Faster Attacks seem to be a core gem, since you do not have any +attack speed from passives.

Only way to get IAS is gear, and it's not that easy. Thus Faster Attacks works as a seperate multiplier. Get a quality one!

It seems that single target DPS still matters the most.

Thus I am thinking of swapping the increased AoE to something else.

Weapon Melee Damage and Fire Penetration seem to be the only valid options anymore. Melee Damage on Full Life works perfectly for CI builds, but that's it...

- Removed the two 8% mana nodes, had to pick one +30 INT node more to keep leveling up discipline.

Flat mana cost auras!
+Grace (I started to think, that perhaps I wont take the unstunnable talent. Gaining such reduction from evasion... while my grace is only level 1, already at 11% evasion)

+Anger (+250 dps from here alone, L9)

+Added Cold Damage quality one for freezing, although the duration of the freeze is but a ministun (like 0.01s), but at least it interrupts animations. Not sure if the animation continues where it froze, or do they actually have to start the attack again.

Eventually I will want to have a 5L and 6L with the Spell Totem. Clearly a benefit using a two hander here!

+Added Lightning Damage (quality for shocks)
+Faster Casting

While I cannot crit (and deal natural status alignments), blind can be inflicted - and so can burning with flammability. Not to mention the quality versions of added cold damage and added lightning damage also give static proc chance that has nothing to do with crit.

The blind basically "turns on" after the first firestorm. There are 10 projectiles and currently my blind has ...what 8% chance of proccing per projectile. That's just crazy. The debuff lasts normally for 4s and AFAIK there's no diminishing return.

The spell totem has crazy range and it can be used from like "screen away", on 1920x1080 resolution. The totem even sorta protects itself, since it targets the closest targets - then it gets blinded and it buys itself more time to survive.


My infernal damage went off the roof, when I decided to swap the increased AoE to weapon melee damage. Still both my weapon elemental and weapon melee damage nodes are NON quality. My tooltip shows staggering 6.2k DPS, and yet again - no elemental equilibrium, flammability nor elemental weakness effect calculated there! STUFF - FUCKING - EXPLODES! :D

Now I need to find new amulet + new ring. Sorta need to get rid of the mana and mana regeneration as it does nothing.

I have also reached capped 75% resistances on merciless (and luvly -60% chaos resist still!), so next point is going to the +5% max resists. I think I have that capped as well... :)
