Merciless act1 was a cakewalk, Halerake excluded. Was playing in party and people were very impressed with the double curses. At the end, I was at town when they killed Brutus, so I did not get the quest progression and had to solo it. He was actually little bit easier than I thought, although the fight wasn't steamroll. I certainly had to flee to regen etc. But as he wasn't immune to curses, he took rather massive damage from my attacks. He took like 10-12 -attacks total. I bought also a quality shock nova, so there's at least chance of dropping a shocking proc as well. And can't wait to see what happens to my damage with the new weapon of mine: ...yeah. Level 62 now, Soloed all the way.
Chamber of sins in Act 2 is pretty stupid in Merciless. Viper strike basically meant instant death. Fidelitas is pretty easy though. With my gear + build i am dishing out 3k-3.5k dps with my Infernal Blow and 1.2-1.5k with my Cleave, Now I just need more hp and my character is basically on automatic. Farming Fellshrine atm with MF gear until I feel comfortable enough to proceed without zerging like in Chamber of Sins.. Kinda Caught in a Bind now - Realized that Speccing Axe instead of swords would actually give me more hp and flexibility in the build LOL.. not sure If I want to continue playing my templar or reroll an Axe one in HC.

" I don't think it's worth it ever speccing a weapon type, unless you are going for certain crit builds...unless you have that godly weapon, that will likely NOT upgrade... Running with 2.2k hitpoints now, 2000ish armor with molten shell and with 650 energy shield, with discipline aura up. Looking good! Did some tweaking to the final build, to even increase the survivability as damage is NOT the limiting factor: http://tinyurl.com/d8upmct Dropped 2% physical life leech (since we have such weak physical damage) Dropped bloodless (life leech immunity feels minor) Dropped 5% elemental damage node Dropped the 3x 6% fire damage nodes and 1x 18% fire damage Instead took more life %, 2x +15% flask life amount (epic with blood magic) and 18% armor with 2% movement speed -node. Meanwhile my Templar clears Act 2 merciless with like 1.45k Hp 0 ES lol.. Dont feel like crawling on though, Chaos damage is destroying me and I dont have the HP gear to proceed... Max resists , 3k dps(thanks to my 2.0 attack speed fire sword) and 42% reduction + immunity to shock only takes one so far i guess..
