Lame argument.

The goal should be for rare items to be more "unique"

Instead it's just path of brown items.

The ability to spam these easily on uniques and not good rares will just increase the already wide difference between the two.

I believe I read somewhere that 8 mods only apply to maps, besides the hybrid mods you get from normal rares

It will never be comparable because uniques are just continuously spit out by the RNG.

Godly rares are carefully and expensively constructed.

The uniques will accumulate much more rapidly with good corruptions.

I'm sure you've noticed, but the community in this game is toxic. I've never seen any other games with so much animosity towards fellow players, save console FPSs. A lot of the people who play this game have some real social issues.

While I agree with you that there really are some toxic players in the community, the majority of people are just playing the game and enjoying it. I've ran into far more generous and good people in this game than any online FPS I've played in my lifetime.

The guy making the comment about making uniques truly unique is right... in the past, that 6L Maul was only attainable by such a small fraction of players that it made the game feel less satisfying for the rest of us. Vaal orbs give the rest of us a chance to stumble onto something really fun and unique... instead of farming for hundreds and hundreds of hours for currency to make a 6L that you want to use for a build guide you followed written by a top player. I don't know about you but I don't have hundreds and hundreds of hours to spare in order to get even close to what some players have just sitting in their stash taking up space.

Seriously, this update is pure genius as explained by MonstaMunch and Antnee.

The fact "fellow" players are being flamed on is just obvious. It was clearly stated by GGG to be carefull with those orbs, nontheless players played the RNG and now, they ask daddy why they are screwed ?

When you click on something you are in charge, nobody else is holding your hand there ...
