I don't think you've been paying enough attention to some of the successful rolls. Some dude just got "cast level 10 vulnerability on hit" on his malis, others are getting frenzy charges where they don't usually belong. This type of stuff is completely brilliant. Mirrors have been rendered way less cool, all the best items will be truly one of a kind, and people will have to take some crazy risks if they want to see awesome results. It's awesome.
