With alpha's howl and the 2 aura nodes near ranger you have exactly enough to run wrath anger and herald of ice without needing enlighten or jewels.

How do you feel about HoT and Arctic Armour instead of Anger? You're squishy without LC or Kaom's, so AA helps a bit, and without Anger you can use HoT + HoI + Curse on Hit + Assassin's Mark.

You can absolutely shuffle auras around. I did not find HoT to be that useful because most things will die before you're in range but AA is a decent defensive option. You can even swap both for grace if you want to go for the high evasion route which would mostly give you immunity to reflect even without voltaxic.

And yes having both auras cast curse is very fun!

1 Passive node and the rest from gear/traversal nodes.


Those nodes are not very cost effective when I last tried them, you have 5,7,7,22 for a total of 13.7% chaos damage per node. Most of your damage is indeed chaos but the rest of it is fire and cold so really it's only about equal to 10% projectile nodes or 11% elemental nodes.

I usually take the 3*10% ele nodes + 12 + 14% near shadow instead for a total of 11.2% elemental damage per node which is generally going to net more than 13.7% chaos damage per node. At the very least theyd be very close.

2.1 build?

Just got to 64, bought everything needed for the build.loving it till now. any updates for the 2.1 skill tree? would really love to continue playing this build (so far one of my favourites, even better than fakener for me.)

That's nice to read; i'm following your guide and found it to be working very good so far :)

Currently level 40 ish in talisman league. Got really lucky with a stormcloud drop and plowing through mobs butter! For a fresh league: pick up a stormcloud and invest in the large mana nodes near ranger and shadow start. Next goal should be tabula rasa then drillneck.
