Question about 6L. Not that I'm there yet but I'm curious as to if it's really worth using FA in the LA 6L. I have a 5L right now at lv66 in A3 Merciless and I clear stupidly fast with sub-par gear. It seems to me that more DPS won't really help that much. Wouldn't Increased Rarity/Quantity be better? Or do you actually need the DPS when you do maps?

You will always want more dps because high level mobs/maps with a few teammates will never be one shots.

The 6th slot can be used for anything youd like including rarity, lightning pen, added light, elemental prolif or FA if it wasnt already part of your core 5 link.

no. venator reworked the build this week.
instead of taking amplify, he took Elementalist.
+10% ele dmg, +10 int (which helps with wrath)
Also, I think 3*10% elem dmg nodes those close to ranger are not necessary. I just put them all on life nodes.

if youre playing HC mby yes, but in SC.... i already have too much hp, at some point i was at 2800.... but took away some hp nodes to put them somewhere else and now i run with 2200 after auras

i had no problem w/merciless at 1500hp after auras. only died to cremetorium piety.
no problem that is till i got chain.

chain's 200% mana requirement meant my LA = 100hp per volley
if i'm spamming LA and hitting doorways or edge of buildings, my HP globe has dropped to 50% which is a little uncomfortable.

but chain = clearing things faster when you do hit, which is a vast majority of time

My current setup is Temporal Chains, Elemental Weakness, Frenzy and EH Totem.

Elemental Weakness works much better than Projectile Weakness for me as things are at the moment.

Frenzy can be replaced for Elemental Hit; but I like having the extra 25% attack speed for my LA (it is really easy to maintain 5 charges up at all times). Elemental Hit would deal more damage than Frenzy; but it wouldn't augment LA. So to "fix" that problem, I use EH on a totem, instead of other methods (Bear Traps being the most common). This way I get the best of both worlds. Whenever I need any help on a single target, or some aggro relief, the EH totem is there. I also use it as a probe to check behind corners - if I cast it and it starts shooting, or gets rammed by a rhoa, it has served its purpose and I know what is up ahead.

Why not use a frenzy totem to keep charges up, and instead yourself use Elemental hit? This way you don't have to worry about keeping up frenzy charges - one less thing to worry about. And you still get the best of both worlds.

u dont get frenzy charges from totems :(
I have problem with merciless act3.

Ele hit 2800 dps
LA 800 dps

HP 1900 after aura

Ele resist around 50%
Choas -40%

I cannot solo pass Sarn Slum.

Please tell me what should I focus on.
