because any node that gives 12% or higher is worth it.

and that video is from pre-1.1.0.
It was with Crit + Witch AoE node. To reach the witch AOE node, you will sacrifice a crap ton of dps.

Reave does NOT attack with axe. Reave is a SWORD skill. As such, a soultaker has ZERO impact on Reave attack speed, as long as you also have a sword equipped.
The attack speed scales with your equipped sword ONLY.

10 attacks per second is me holding back.
I can reach 14 aps (without haste), 15 aps (with haste).
But, this comes at SEVERE penalty to defense and actual per-hit damage.

In PvP, having higher than 10 APS puts you at risk for thorns damage (e.g. 6 linked Tempest Shield and Molten Shell)
