Problem is you need 75+ maps to constantly summon them (unless you want the weaker battlefront versions)....reason BM was so nice to use was you could easily get it. ATM I just use one evanglists and one flame sentinel...not as good as BM but flame will 1-2 shot 70 whites.


Leave it to GGG to buff summoners only to destroy their dps and make them useless in groups lol...least BM cast their aura right off the bat now :P

Can you update the passive tree please ?
I dont get the massive nerf to BM damage. they reduced it by like 80% its ridiculous before patch you didnt even need a single damage node for them to be usefull. now I can 4link it with level 20 remote mine level 20 increase minion damage and level 20 increase burning damage as well as getting around 70%+ minion damage from passives (didnt count them probably more even) and their aura can not even kill white mobs in city of sarn in under 5 seconds. with that much of a gear/passive point investment any other build in the game can overkill 1shot level 61 white mobs I just do not understand the logic behind this. Sure their aura was really good dps but guess what other late game builds also do crazy dps and even if it did need a nurf I dont think It was called for to reduce it but such a huge amount.

ok so is summoner at all viable in the invasion league? im level 67 right now I cant really go "full summoner" atm i just use searing bond totem and summon zombies when they die to help tank because whenever I try to spend 5min snapshotting shit a crazy invasion boss will 2hit all of my minions. on top of that this game for some reason crashes every few times you zone if you have too low of ram(nice optimization job). also there is the BM nerf and after having a taste of what they can do in nemesis its not that easy to just go something else if you know what i mean.

Going down to the circle of life is more efficient than going to the life notes in the Templar area, Bloodhex. And I would consider the reduced aura reservation notes as mandatory (@your Witch build). Even with a mana pool of 3,5k you only would have 160 mana left, which is not enough for MoM, imo.

not anymore, not after factoring in all the extra base hp you get from str going for the templar ones

The difference in this particular build is:
20 Int, 30 Str, 24% Life (Templar area) vs. 20 Str and 28% Life (circle of life)
In addition every new point can easily be invested in new life notes whereas you have to start a new journey to others notes if you decide to choose the Templar area.
The nerf does not mean that the circle of life is always inferior.

he's going in the wrong way. come in from the left so it's 10 int, 30 str, 24 life. 5 points, vs 20 str and 22 life for scion wheel with same point investment

your next 4 points would be getting the life in shadow area from the aura effect cluster, 10 int and another 24 life for 4, where if you were already in scion wheel, would be 4 for 24 life only


by then your build would run out of points unless you're going for level 100, in which case it's preference whether to get slightly more %life from going into the scion life wheel at that point, or taking the long way around str nodes to templar start life nodes for less %life, but a lot more base hp and another 1% regen



the scion life wheel nerf is extremely severe. it's usually not worth reaching out for just for more life anymore, only if you happen to pass by
