Why is soul Taker so outrageously expensive??
So tanks can not be end game because they do not push damage beyond normal limits?

Tank can push for ridiculous damage while having 70% block if you're dedicated enough. Tank is a lazy way to be considered good. All you need is an AA and a shit load of points in defense. As long as you survive nobody is gonna bash you for taking 3 minutes to kill double Piety.
300 ex is not what im considering end game, tinko. Says you have a 150 ex weapon, you should also have matching jewelries, shield, chest, etc.. Standard IGN: WTFNamesAllTaken. " Believe it or not, an entire gear set of mirrored rares actually shows laziness rather than strength of build. IGN: Arlianth

Thats just your opinion. To me it shows a sense of commitment. Not everyone buys his mirrors thru RMT sites

" AA users are mostly mediocre tanks, have to agree. But, better 3 minutes to kill double Piety than skip like 90%+ players do. What are you considering "end game"? All items mirrored? I myself don't acknowledge 66 mapping an end game, because that is just a small part of the actual gameplay. Hence 70-80 lvl players (a good part of them) have no idea of most of the game mechanics (resistances, armour, etc.). |

" The Immortal Tank build in this game utilizes the unique shield Aegis Aurora, which is best-in-slot and costs around 10-12 Exalts. Hence, it is normal for the total cost of the entire gear set of an end-game tanker to cost lower than other builds. Some Immortal Tank end-game builds also utilizes cheap but best-in-slot uniques like Stone of Lahzwar and Rainbowstrides for the Block Chance applied to spells. The total cost of Aegis, Lahzwar and Rainbowstrides can be bought below 30 Exalts, even for the above average rolls. Hence, 300 Exalts for this types of tanking builds can be considered end-game. " Nicely put bro. The shittiest build can be made good with mirrored rares, no one can disagree with that. IGN: Asharin

It's funny how a lot of people say "ST has shit damage = ST is shit and using it just shows you're sheep". I mean how sheeple post can that be? Think outside of the box.
I use ST for my Reave build, Reave doesn't hit with Axes, ST shitty damage becomes completely irrelevant. As far as my build goes, I couldn't care less if ST was low level unique as long as it has that Mana modifier. In fact, it'd be better since the cost of it would go down horribly, because all sheeple can't suddenly find any use for it. |

well u just need max block.. phys+spell that makes u nearly imortal in most situations.. no one needs an aura himself.. im bm and in 6people parties u have all the auras in the world..
with BM passiv a soultaker would be super shit junk.. well it is.. its just the mana thingy about it..something like kicks its ass if ur not mana fixated... im using rathpith by the way as meele.. its awesome! (+ legacy rainbows) i hate mana and all this shit around it so .. quit different build and playstyle Last edited by krassi3000#2469 on Jan 3, 2014, 12:19:18 PM

" I consider a build end game when you try to make the best out of every slot and also find the best in slot for everything you need. The fact that you use a mirrored weapon with double crit mods but specced into RT tells me there's something unsettling about your build. You spend ~ 150 ex to have a weapon that you can take advantage of only 4 mods. If I were you I would even consider rerolling a different class to best make use of that weapon. When you look into a build and you see it has not tried to maximize the potential, it is not end game. Just like all tank builds. The fact that you can survive does not matter to me. Anyone playing this game for a couple months and reading the forum on a regular basis knows how easy it is to make such build due to the easy shopping list. What would make it shine is how urged you are in pushing damage while staying tanky. I have not seen one tanky build that also focus on maximizing damage. They would all go "Very decent damage with 20k AOE" and everyone would madly applaud. Remember that tanky builds are just bandaids to temporarily fix the issue of bad gear vs hard contents. Don't get me wrong, 20k DPS is good. It's just not exceptional and certainly not "end game". You have to push it hard. And ST is certainly not the way to do it. Standard IGN: WTFNamesAllTaken.
