1.3 [Newbie Friendly] GROUNDSLAMMER BUILD

Hello,

at first, I'd like to thank you for this guide.

I have a question. Maybe I miss it, because I never get higher level than 35, but I have to ask:

you are picking only 6 dexterity points which gives you 60 dexterity points and base is 14. It is 74 dexterity points. But Grace needs a lot of dexterity ( http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Grace ). Is 'exatly this' build able to run this aura at high level, or I have to take more dexterity points + wear a lot stuff giving dexterity to me? It is a good idea to take no dexterity points, no iron reflexes and take strenght and life nodes instead?

Thanks,
Nesro

Just warning, not a good build if u wanna play in end game or maps. Only good to have fun until lv 60+ and then build is completely useless.

Is it good to use for farming for later characters?

to survive merc or other difficulties u will waste more currency than u will farm with marauder. And its pretty slow farmer compared to others build, i think not pretty but a lot slower.

That's not my experience at all. I'm level 61, using this build, and I have been playing at areas exactly of my level. For example, I've been playing in The City of Sarn and on the Sarn Slums, both of which are level 61.

I've never bought a single item with this character, nor has he received any items from other chars (I have this Marauder and a level 5 Witch).

Given all of this I think that at least for Merciless this build is still fine. I can't speak about maps because I haven't tried any yet.

This build is fine beyond merciless, I just started doing 66-67 maps and I'm doing just fine. Almost all of my gear is self found, only weapon and chest armor are from trade channel :) I'm loving this! Only real threats that I have encountered are charging rhoas or guards and archers who put chill effect on me so my atkspeed slows way down and I can't keep my life regen up.
I honestly wonder if IR is still worth it. I'm only in the 40s now but I have held off on taking IR because it takes a lot of fairly useless nodes to get to it, and after the patch I only stand to gain ~200 armor from it. Not worth it in my opinion, the effect 200 armor has when you have over 1000 is a few %. I'd rather take some life or dmg nodes.

Because of that, I think there might be a very different revamped build that would be better, but I haven't taken the time to figure it out yet. Just wondering if anyone cares to argue the point for me.

Depends on ur gear, i have some realy nice chests 1k+ evasion with life+res, but its harder to get red sockets.

The main reason to get IR is being able to use Grace, which is a flat cost aura. You also have more flexibility when it comes to gear. But I don't know if there are better alternatives.

You have to sacrifice something for grace. In my case it was amulet:
