1.3 [Newbie Friendly] GROUNDSLAMMER BUILD
He was probably writing before the patch where phys got alot better. So u take the 18% now.

This Build would work for onslaught? Also why not better use Groundslam + multistrike + Concentrated effect + melee physical dmg + life leech + faster attacks or added fire dmg?

Ghentorx 76 Duelist CI Double strike (Onslaught) |

Ninja.... Here's my question tho.. In order to spend all those points, is it true that you have to be level 78 in order to do so? I've followed your guide and I've done everything what it says, but I've calculated everything and when I want to finish your build, I'll be level 78. I am level 69 now.
So my question is just... Is it true that build is done at level 78 and not at level 70? Many thanks for this awesome guide. It really is a cookie cutter build. Sincerely Diaco :) |

Guys I'm curious. I'm new to Path of Exile, and I recently started a few different characters, basically to get a feel for the game.
Right now, my Marauder is lvl 20-something, with 5 passive points to spent, 2 refund points, and I have 2 of the orbs that allow me to get passive refunds. I really like this build, and I want to go with it, but unfortunately, I spent most of my nodes on +dmg% for 1Handers, stuff like that. Should I start a new character? |

" Honestly, start a new character. Shouldn't take you too long to reach level 20+ again. |

" Taking your advice. Thank you. |

People need to be aware that some of this is largely outdated. This build was posted 7 months ago, and updated pretty regularly, but some recent changes aren't included.
One thing to keep in mind, don't always go with exactly what the builder says. If you find you need more dex, grab 1-2 +30 dex nodes on the way, or for int 1-2 30 int nodes. No 2 people have the same exact play style and gear, that is why there are thousands of builds out there. The core idea of this build is still strong, so don't worry if you are using this build. It's not the best build out there, but it's far from the worst. IGN = Dellusions_Duelist

" Exactly, I find that builds also based on an assumption you're with zero gears. Most people after lv70 will get enough resists on gears alone. You can save upto 10 passive points for not taking the single resist nodes as well as 1 endure charge. Grace is good but you'll be stucked at lv5 or 6 without taking Dex node, too. Without Dex, you're alos stucked with armor gears only which limited the benefit of Iron Reflect. That's my modified build at lv72. http://www.pathofexile.com/passive-skill-tree/AAAAAgEAAnEEswUtDjwOrQ_MEuEUIBRNFHEY2xkuGjghYCftKLUpLimlLdIyCTboOlI62DwFPfxAoEGqQ5xN2FBHUFBUSVWpVgRYY1nzXz9gS2CIYVJyqXTtdPF673uMfLh82YFvgziGYIcpjHaMz5BVl7ScJ548nrmfPp_Ln9-gnaIAouqmZKcwp4SpaKyqrLq53cAaxtjJmNSP3sHfv-St51LsOO4U7w7vTu988B_yL_ZI9zL3vvjr Just skip the single resist nodes, and apply accordingly if you need that resist. Taking the 30dex node near Blood Magic also granted an opportunity to grab that Mace damage and armor nodes. Last edited by stefan_12345#3840 on Aug 16, 2013, 6:54:56 AM
