Just take of life gear....activate RF....see how long it takes to kill a boss.
...Then go to the same boss, activate RF, then put back on your life gear... -The difference between a few thousand life should be noticeable right away. |

You can see I made a mistake, it will also snapshot the life. I'm sorry to everyone out there. I would not be named Elsahr, if I wouldn't solved the problem already! :D I will update the thread, my "How to put on Righteous Fire" and everything else in the next hours to the new Blazing Build, its like a 1.1 version of the old one. All changes are online.
I do now more damage, I also have skilled 20% increased area because I lost the benefits from the Carcass Jack. I get lower life, but I cast Righteous Fire with way more life than before. Last edited by Elsahr#1399 on Dec 28, 2013, 7:50:03 PM

I'd like some advice. I'm thinking of MAYBE using RF with my existing build, to buff spell damage, not just to deal RF damage. How would you suggest I best do that?
I was thinking using Carnage Heart, The Covenant, and taking off all life gear, using Purity of Fire + RF, the putting it all back on. Think that would work? I might need to run Vitality, but then again, maybe not, if I get enough nodes? Will probably have to use Rise of the Phoenix. Life: 3990 Life Regen: 80 My build is: Current Gear:

BTW...Flammability/Ele Weakness beats Vulnerability...even when lvl 5 on CwDT.

Hi, I am running an ES build instead of Life.. I tried this snapshotting thing with Redbeaks but my damage doesn't seem to be any higher than before.. Am I doing anything wrong?
EDIT: Yep, snapshot using ES build did work. Just wasn't noticable because the enemies I fought had fire resist :D EDIT: Also, does having higher life/es increase regen like it does with mana regen? Last edited by Cruward#7596 on Dec 29, 2013, 7:30:04 PM

have you tested snapshotting your RF with discipline? I've been doing a blood magic + reduced mana + discipline combo to get to low life and activate my righteous fire, so that it snapshots for a bit of extra damage from the extra energy shield. I haven't tested to see whether it actually does do extra dmg from the energy shield, tho I assume it does since it snapshots your life total.
