I switched back to Ethereal Knives / Barrage / COC / Life Leech. I like it more than ST again, now that I can run all 3 auras finally. I don't like Fork and I wasn't sure what to do with the last slot. So I socketed Arc. And I was like, eh, this is okay, it's doing the thing I need it to do and it's kinda useful.

Log in after work... massive Arc buff dropped in the last patch. OHRMARGHAWD

I'm not sure if you are right ... I tested it out and it seemed like only 1 prokectile of ek chains ... the others dont ... I also saw this behaviour with fork ... barrage chains like normal.
I hope I'm not false but if my thesis is right then i dont think chainis that great for our purposes i would prefer pierce

EK can't shotgun. projectiles that don't hit will, obviously, not chain either
How does crit chance work against energy shield mobs? Did piety for the first time and she was a bitch to kill if her ES was up. Want to go do dominus but im worried about his ES and he's waay more scary.

Is dominus/piety farming even doable?

es doesn't affect crits in this game. that's borderlands...
Curious how how a level people have played this spec. I'm currently sitting at about 70 with a coc EK shadow and a elemental buzzsaw scion. Not sure which to focus on. Have people found this build viable into the high 80s and 90s?
so i'm level 37 and already im liking this build, got a few questions about some of the replies people have been giving though:

what is the effect of ilnking 2 EK's with coc and barrage? does that mean EK casts twice if 2 of them are linked? what about 3? does this stack or was the post ncaot accurate in his post?

also what is the best dps 5L+ setup? Is it chain, GMP, LMP, arc, etc along with EK - coc and barrage?

Also can someone please list in order and by level of need the various stats that i should look for in my gear? I imagine it would be something like: attack speed > spell damage > spell crit > etc?

my variant hit 85 and got up to ~76 rip maps without issues before league ended. most terrifying matchup so far has been map caliga, cuz it's impossible to hit him with barrage with how much he moves around

surgeon topaz + lit purity rips temple piety a new one, so I'm assuming crema would've went smooth as well



some of the more problematic map mod combos completed: phys refl + vuln, phys refl + half regen, ele refl + -max, no regen + chaos degen vs shock and horror

worst mod has been enfeeble by far, for obvious reasons
