" They aggro mobs nicely. On lvl66 map with 60lvl-shadow cleared Crypt Map, skeletons+spell totem+fast casting didnt let the orange boss hit me once. Pros and Cons of Shield wielding would be very nice. Skill tree question: 1) why Blinding Speed over Repartee? 2)Dagger Damage and Life looks nice and are close to that aura node, whats wrong with em? P.S. just linked my voll's protector.yay Last edited by Student_Kutuzov#6329 on Jan 22, 2014, 7:20:15 PM

" Yah skeletotem is great for single target. But if it drops in AoE it get's gibbed before it even gets a chance to drop a set of skeles. " Will work on that " 1) A- Because, outside of needing a little bit of mana leech we gives no f*k about melee phys dmg. B- b/c Attack speed scales AMAZINGLY well with CoC. 2) If your talking about 'From the Shadows' ... It is a great little node. I used it for a vry long time. I chose to dump it in favor of spell dmg once I felt like my CoC procs were at high volume. And I am assuming you mean the life nodes by 'Mind Drinker'. 1st of all I hate that cluster. Most life clusters have a 12% or a big strength bonus on the last one. That cluster is vry inefficient compared to others. 2ndly, 24% HP isn't going to be the difference between life and death. You are either going to get 1 shot, or get surrounded and stun locked. It is EXTREMELY rare that I escape with a sliver of HP. As I said in the skill tree progression section - I dropped 18% HP at one point and haven't even noticed it was gone. That's just my 2 cent's from my gameplay experience. I am of the opinion that almost nothing is essentially 'wrong' or 'right'. You play the game and build your characters in the way that is the most fun for you. I spent many years min/maxing everything over multiple games. I don't go extreme anymore. And, while theorycrafting is still one of my fav pastimes, in the end it's a game and it should be fun (whatever fun is to you ;) ) Grats on the linkage!!! :D Check out my Frozen Dagger build in the Shadow forums!!

After near 1k chroms I decided to sell my 5L Voll's and buy next one ( with colors, 5 or 6L ) when I will get enough currency.
Could you give me a hint Mr Juggla what kind of dagger I need to get? ;-)

" 1) Blinding speed is DW passive but atm i am looking into dagger+shield in that way i think Repartee is the only choice :( 2)Nope, i mean Dagger Damage and Life to the right of the Charisma passive, but if u say we dont need phys dmg no questions then :P ty |

" Well it will depend on your stats. Mod priority will change from time to time as your reach thresholds. But, here is a good rule of thumb --> Local Crit Chance>Attack Speed>Spell Crit>Spell Damage=Crit Multiplier Once you crest over 70% crit chance, crit multi will start to move up the priority list. Spell crit will almost always outweigh spell damage since your not likely to get your spell crit incredibly high. Especially if your running Cold snap in there somewhere (extremely low base crit chance) I personally am always looking for more attk speed mods. I rly feel like it scales the best, with this build, going into late game. My ST is over 3aps atm and I still want more lol. " If that's the case I would suggest 1 of 2 things A) Either coast along below that whole cluster and just pick up the 2 dex nodes and save a passive point to put somewhere else. B) Head through the elemental cluster picking up the 3 cold dmg nodes to get through to the other side. Check out my Frozen Dagger build in the Shadow forums!! " Not sure i get this. If i start from Mental Acuity theres 5 nodes to the other side. What nodes should i drop exactly and wich way should i go then? In your opinion is dagger+shield viable? Less dps\more surv way as i see it. |

" The two options I outlined are circled in red. If you take the lower route you save 1 skill point. If you go through 'Freeze' you will end up with the same amount of points with some more cold dmg and freeze chance. And yes shield is definitely viable. I'm actually working on a switch set for High HP hard hitting bosses. It's going alright. I just don't have a great shield yet. Your attk speed and crit chance will suffer a bit. But like you said your trading off some dmg for some survivability. Check out my Frozen Dagger build in the Shadow forums!! Last edited by Juggla1570#0315 on Jan 23, 2014, 1:36:18 PM
