If you find that slower bows with higher elemental damage give you the most DPS then that's what you gotta go with. There's probably a variable we aren't aware of that is different between our situations giving me more of a benefit from attack speed. Every inconsistent experience that everyone else has had with this build has resulted from them doing something differently then listed without realizing it or thinking about it, but if you're not having issues, then it doesn't really matter.
What level is your frenzy, how many max frenzy charges do you have, and do you have quality on it? There is a very specific point when switching from Split Arrow + Faster Attacks (or whatever) to Frenzy + GMP gives us more damage, and it is rather late (you should be pretty close to it at level 60). If you tell me these things, I could probably do some math and clarify, giving you a set point where you can expect Frenzy to be better. ^^ @Drakasa Reflect Elemental mobs reflect 20% of your damage. If you have 80% elemental resistances, then you only take 20% of the 20%, which means you take 4% of your own total damage. 4% = one twenty fifth By keeping our Damage under twenty five times our Life on Hit, we out-heal the damage we take, preventing ourselves from taking ANY damage from reflect elemental mobs, which are our biggest difficulty end game. ^^ In-Game-Name: Lezli Last edited by Lezli#6741 on Feb 1, 2013, 3:21:54 AM

Thanks for the quick reply.
I know Chain+GMP is a ticking bomb, but non-100% Pierce is just too unpredictable for my liking. I found your comment about the elemental cookiecutter build interesting. I'd figure this build would be higher top-end damage, seeing how Frenzy just seems to scale better with quality/level and considering the Ele Hit nerf on higher levels and all. Anyway, gonna try and get the last charge. Thanks again! |

I was looking at your 4L single target and aoe attacks, and faster casting doesn't seem to show on the dps on char or seem like im casting any faster maybe its only spells not range attacks. not sure what I am doing wrong

I'm level 43 and my listed damage with Frenzy is: 471,1 and Split Arrow: 405.
Is that normal, bad or good? And if thats bad, how can I get more ;? Thanks and regards Thunar |

Elemental hit is probably the most powerful skill in the game, so saying frenzy isn't as good isn't anything bad. ^^ @Jables89 lol @Evilknivel That is rather low. You should be sitting at at around 600 with low end gear, or 800 with high end. If you are using 1.55 attack speed bow, and the right set up for 4L, then getting 40 more elemental damage on your gear should put you at 600. love the build but having issues running out of life too fast with 4 l frenzy lgoh and elementala hit all at about level 10-11 had to take out the lmp in this as losign life too fast
also the other 4l im using at m is split arrow with life leech with item quantity/item rarirty this is my passive tree so far and here is my gear as well plz any advice hints or tips would be greatly appreciated!! passive tree so far : my gear :
