Incident Report for 1.0.2 deployment downtime

I have to respect you guys for being this open about the issues you were having with the patch. Pretty much any other decently large company would have kept it all hush-hush to either save face or maybe some paranoid fear of having their 'secrets' stolen.

Keep up the good work.

The fact that you explained the entire process, minute by minute, to inform and educate us on exactly what happened shows just how much you value us players, which is far and away more than what any other company cares to show their supporters. Keep up the amazing job, all of us love and appreciate the work you do!

Yeah, no need for apologizing on that. I'm sure that most POE players never mind a patch delay if it's meant to solve some issues we're not even taking into consideration.

:)
New supporter packs, new micros new patch notes...
But the thing that gets me all warm and fuzzy inside are the pages of comments right below this news section!

people around here so get IT ^_^

Utterly astounded at the transparency and effort to communicate openly and honestly with us. Buys undying loyalty... truly guys, you're amazing, even when you make a boo boo. Thank you sincerely. BTW - remember this - as you grow and become more successful, remember what got you there. The Corporate blood suckers will always, always try to kill this - "better they not know" - "takes too much time" - "they will adjust". F(#k That! It's BS. Keep it real guys, stay gamers and you will always prevail. You can make oodles of money the right way too - it's just a little bit slower but you maintain your soul. I speak from experience. Wishing you all the best.
Some of these replys make me want to burst out in tears and hug a tree.......... *sniff*

Thanks again GGG for doing your job in a timely manner and saving us and yourselves a great headache than needed to be on these mostly troll and fanboy infested forums.

PS: Cheque is in the mail
Everone makes mistakes. The transparacy from GGG to their players are great, many other companies could learn a thing or two!

Of course, everyone makes mistakes, in my head you are very forgiven. Love the game and appreciate all the work you guys put into both making and sharing with the community, keep it up!

Posts like these are exactly why I respect GGG and what you do for the community; you wouldn't likely see any kind of post like this on another game's forums.

Thanks to you for letting us know what happened, and showing us a little of what's under the hood.

My thoughts also. Great work GGG.

Not just because im in NZ and bais, but GGG honestly has the BEST developer communication/ support out of ANY game I've ever played.

All the QQers from today, have been put in there place

wow, just wow!
you don't see stuff like this anymore

:respect:
Thanks for the information sharing.

This should be the norm for current and future developer, something like a DoGGGme 95 for gaming
Another example of why GGG leads the way when it comes to modern day companies. I am the kind of person who is careful about how i spend my money. The thing is when it comes to GGG micro transactions i WANT to give my money to them so that this awesome company continues to grow, stabilise and eventually (hopefully) dominate and heavily influence the global game development market, setting a new benchmark for how companies should treat their customers.

A+ GGG for dealing with the problem, your transparency and the respect you show us. We want to say thank you.

Grinding Gear Games = GG
