Im pretty satisfied with this build, i switched to CI around lvl 55 with near 5k ES running Grace + Discipline, currenty lvling to 68 to take my 800 ES 5L chest so i can throw in a Life Leech gem. Also im lacking some dmg, but i think il solve it in the next levels.

" You should try to use poe.xyz.is as site to buy some items when you have some currency to spend, there are 5link's for 1chaos which suits perfectly for leveling. Then you can also get Ghost Reaver and Life Leech. Great spec, Im currently at 83, most annoying thing bout this spec are the mobs who chill you. (casting speed reducement really sucks, tho it improved abit since i bought some gems) This is my gear atm

Bought the chest for some chaos and made it 5L, also wand and shield were not worth much(10chaos all in) but i already have 44.9 crit on freezing pulse. The gems were worth the most with 1ex to 1.5 exalted orbs. Tho ive bought them at quality 20% and lower level (around 18) Now with improved gems it really starts to look like something. Btw Makav do u prefer frostbite or critical weakness as curse? ive been using frostbite and thats the one which helps me the most i think. " For leveling, i think critical weakness is better, because you don't chill enough, and barely don't do enough dammage. Then, in higher levels, with at least 40% crit chances, Forstbite will be better. Why? Because with more than 40%, you got enough crit. 50% with critical weak won't be a real change. And remember that the chill duration is based on the life the mobs lose, so if you don't deal enough due to their resistances, that won't be worth. If you got Cold penetration as a 6L, i think you can choose between both criti or frostbite. I will recomand Frostbite anyway because of the bosses. On piety for exemple, with critical, you will crit all the time, but the dommage won't be enough to chill her. With fristbite and cold pene, piety will lose something like 80% cold resistance, so your hit will be much more powerfull, but not only the critical hit, all of your hit. I'm not sure this will be enough to chill her, but at least, you will have a better dps on her with frostbite rather than with critical weakness. |

Good to see my fellow freeze pulsers in action. Been freeze pulse for as long as I can remember. Such a fun skill to play with. I did a CI freeze pulser char like most people first but once I had insane gear I did a life based freeze pulser and got all the way to level 90 until I decided to try something else. Survivability is good, 8k armor without using IR/grace and 80% cold resist w/ 6200 HP. DPS is really nice with crits going up to 40k damage depending on mobs resistances. My crit chance is really high thanks to the power charges from Voll's. Going life based is incredibly expensive though, everything must be fine tuned or you won't last on hardcore leagues.

If you have the currency you should try life based FP, it's a ton of fun. DPS great even in full groups. vaal or no balls

The chance to Vaal +1% maximum resists on an amulet is less than 1/300.
