-because shield block and dual wielding block passives are diferent things, thats why i talk about them separately (block and parry)
-your way of tanking reminds me of warcraft druid healers that stack HP.. they can "tank" because they have enough hp to not die in a single burst and enough heal to get back up.
-my point is that you almost died more then 20times (i counted every time you went under 5k hp, long live king kaoms!)
seems like ur "tank" build doest have enough "defenses" to be called "tank".
Where I almost died, 99%+ players die if they don't block the spell (Touch of God), almost every single Aegis user gets one shot if they don't block it.
We might continue after you answer to this from my post before.

- exaclty 99% would die because they dont have the defenses to survive it unless then block it. you survive because you have a big ass health pool (not a defense).
i already answered that like 2/3post ago. the point is to NOT take DAMAGE. not run around hoping to heal more then that damage you take.
he (the aegis user that i linked) has 4k hp (sometimes 5) and around 1k es, he blocks so much that when he finaly gets a "big" hit he only loses like 1.5/2k hp (+ the 1k es) because he has enough defenses to survive whatever hits him. you on the other hand evey hit you lose like 3/4k+hp.

That is false. The maze vaal with those mods will onehit him period.
Armor is not effective at all vs maze vaal with difficult mods, don't think it will reduce the hit by anything close to 50%. It's all about immortal call and endurance charges(which the max block build does not use).

My aegis char has got 4200 life and 2k es without life on rings and helm, without discipline.
@OP
My aegis char can take 2 touch of gods, of which the first would crit.
9k hp and no defenses? that's not taking, thats kiting with overkill amounts of life.

My aegis build uses both endurance charges and IC. get off that high horse.

Talking about dragon's build which focuses on neither.
What high horse? I use a max block build on nemesis. I would never try tanking maze vaal. It's foolish to do so. I'm just annoyed with people claiming high hp is not "tanking" for whatever reaosn.

i wasnt talking about vaals, you are not suposed to tank vaal even if you have every defense maxed.

so from ur logic every guy that just sits in front of a mob (whatever mob) and doesnt get 1shoted is a tank?.

Anyone who is able to take multiple hits from the toughest bosses(with the most difficult map mods) is definitely a tank.
