You can use Freezing Pulse instead as your damage will still be pretty good on it.

It increases bear trap's DPS at higher levels without costing too much mana. Plus that kill at 10% HP is more useful than it seems, especially against tanky bosses like Vaal.

Leech on items won't work with EK.

Spell damage % would work with EK, so does everything else you mentioned. But elemental dmg % will only affect a portion of EK's damage and so wouldn't be that useful.

Yup, either that or if you like bear traps like me, aim for the physical reflect rare and bear trap him to death. Bear traps won't reflect physical.

Can someone explain why no Doom Cast? (+60% Crit chance for spells)

Someone else might have a more advanced answer for you, but from my experience with this build, I would run double daggers if I was farming a safe area with not a lot of danger (like ledge for example), obviously a lot more damage output this way ...BUT anytime I advanced into area where there was a decent amount of threat I would switch to dagger-shield for the block chance, energy shield, res, life, ect on shields.

Survivability/defence > Raw damage if there is any threat of dying.

Hi Invalesco, I'm using your guide and just dinged 60 and got to say it rocks doing great so far, but have a dilemma, was hoping with your expertise i could have some help..

I have this chestpiece which is awesome 5 linked with decent stats not the highest armor but should be able to adjust that abit later on, heres my problem, I've been trying to get this one to get the right colors, used over 60 Chromatic orbs so far and i'm not the richest guy still need to max the gear i can have for the currency i currently got, wondering do you think its worth spending more currency and hoping to get lucky for the 5 linked to turn out with the right colors you have suggested in your guide or should i aim to sell it and buy another chest?

I think for pure STR chest pieces a 5L is almost impossible to not have at least 3 reds on it - and I am 99% sure blue WILL NOT roll.

You will need an armor/ES piece to get blue and more green am I right?

Thing is when i tried my 60 chromatic orbs on the chest i managed to get two red two green and one blue a few imes, Well if you've followed the guide im currently writing in it's kind of required to get a chest with high armor and Evasion is useless since dosen't spec into iron reflexes.

I rolled 3 green 2 red on in 5 tries. I was probably lucky, but its doable.
