I actually think that your luxury build is much better. Would you recommend grabbing the 40 from oak or stick to skill point for more flexibility?

o thats right, forgot. grab all the hp stuff.

Would 40hp from oak honestly be better than a skill point? I'm wondering if that one skill point could allow you to grab an hp node and if that would be more beneficial.
You get about 135 HP with the Oak reward. I do not know if that would matter more than 1 skill point which can potentially allow you to get a huge node.
Hi there,

I'm interested in trying out this build, but I have a couple of questions.

I just got my first character up to level 47 and then died to Vaal on Cruel. I was a freezing pulse templar that went for Eldritch Battery with a bunch of life nodes.

I liked the build but my dps felt pretty weak.

I noticed that you play in default league. Is this build not viable for Hardcore?

I noticed when using Spell Totem on some bosses that they would just ignore me and go for the totem every time. This was particularly a problem on the bandit lords with Flicker Strike/Leap being used every time I put a totem up. In general, how do you handle bosses?

Also, with your new iron will build, if those legendary items are really mandatory then I guess its going to be Softcore only (since those items will be extremely expensive to come by).

Is it viable to start this build from the Templar area for increased survivability early game?

And lastly, how do you handle dungeons with small rooms/doorways etc? Particularly rooms with necromancers and lots of caster skeltons blocking the way.

He lags a lot so it's not feasible for him to go hardcore. And hardcore is kind of stressful in a way. I'm in hardcore but honestly I think I prefer softcore just because it's kind of more fun.

I'll answer how I handle these places - conversion trap. If it is a small room full with blue casters just waiting for a totem to kill, I find that tossing a few conversion traps in there and then the traps does wonders.
