It can be done quite easily... if they have other monsters around them, and you're using elemental proliferation.

Freezing them straight up is pretty hard, unless your gear is amazing.

Well I am at level 74 now and have about 1200 mana.. I have Purity and Discipline at level 17 and Clarity at level 14 - it was all fine with 4L...

Today I got my 5L chest finally :)) I added Elemental Proliferation and now I am no longer able to cast 2 totems. :-/ My totems now need 277 mana..

I guess it would be ok with 6L and reduced mana - if you have this luxury :)

If you can afford a 6L, you can afford decent enough gear that you don't need to run purity (heck I don't need purity and I can't even come close to affording a decent 6L), and then put a better gem than reduced mana in your last slot.

ice spear + spell totem + GMP + faster casting + elemental proliferation + crit multiplier

(or swap crit multiplier for whatever situationally, added chaos, added lightning)

Well, I got my resists to max now without using Purity and also got my mana recovery to 86 mana - this is a huuuge improvement. Thanks :)

I still got questions though.
- When I increase my cast speed, do my totems get increased cast speed as well?
- What is the benefit of using a quality Ice Spear? I don't really see how increased projectile speed would be any benefit.. Does this somehow increase the damage as well?
- Which gem would you really recommend having as a quality gem (in the Spectre variation)?

Oh and one more question. How much ES would be the max I can get on this level 67 chest?

Yes. Your totem goes down faster AND your totem casts its spell faster.

No point in quality ice spear really.

Quality faster casting and GMP will get extra 10% cast speed each, which is great. Quality is not important on ice spear or spell totem, and while nice not as important on ele prolif.

Assuming spectre is on a 4L with GMP, minion damage, and IIR/IIQ, none of them really needs quality very badly. GMP quality will boost damage the most - but quality minion damage is probably a lot cheaper.

Stick with your current roll. Save your currency for re-rolling on a better base type. You can get over 1k ES on a Vaal Regalia.

Anyone tried Minion Instability with the new version?

I guess the skeletons would be good with the skill but a waste on your specters (Since they will die erlier then they normaly would)
