[Strongest Solo Variation: Projectile Madness Spectres] LMP/GMP Ice Spear 2x Totem 2x Curse 3x Traps

ok its different for everyone. i dont use projectile weakness because no slots and flickers and chargers have always been easy for me. maybe fire golems are easier with it dono didnt try.

and @your comment about "running "blindly" into mobs doesn't get other builds killed.", that is completely BS. you never run blindly into anything. If you watch Kripp streams he is extremely careful with mobs and never runs blindly into anything, even though his gear and build is almost unkilable.

And your example with summoners. Watch Prozon's death video. His summoner is the tankiest and called by some as "pussy" because its extremely defensive. And yet one time he semi-blindly ran into a mob pack and got killed instantly.

Also watch Rhoaxx (or w.e his name)'s death video. Same sht with Prozon, ran in blindly with lack of care and end up dead. These are very experienced HC players with godly gear and mid-high lvl 80s.

Obviously hardcore demands a more careful playstyle. Not having the patience for that is precisely why I don't play hardcore. (Well that and I've gotten stuck unable to move on terrain at least a dozen times, so f it)

I don't have a problem with once in a blue moon dying to something because I'm playing casually. I like to play casually and am willing to pay that price.

But flicker isn't like that. With everything else, yes, there is an extremely small chance that my running in could get me dead, and I accept that. With flicker it is guaranteed dead every time if I'm in front of my totems and the pack is 6 or more guys. That is not a problem my summoner has.
have anyone tried to adapt this build for a Marauder? the idea is to have 3 curses minimum (maybe for 4 but i wouldn't like to use both Theodore's and Windscream), High HP Pool and Regen, EB (Eldrich Battery) and making use of Auras (now i was thinking about using Haste even more, +Cast Speed), no summons.

this is a rough sketch, similar to Astramentis build

Best advice for puncture is do not move. You bleed out if you move.

I've actually been considering dropping one of my traps for frost nova linked to flee and blind gems to keep stuff off me if I get punctured. Obviously it wouldn't do any damage, just get the monsters to leave me alone while my ES recharges.
is there a level progression build for 20ish 50ish etc for build 3 ?

and can you start using this with level 1?

I'm wondering why he gets passive skill point node in Cruel bandits (4% cast speed) while also picking up the cast speed circle for 2%, 2%, 6%(3.3% cast speed per node). I might do it just because I'm doing Hardcore and could use the +30 dex node more than cast speed up until level 70ish. Is that why?

Is this viable?

I group with two other IRL friends and we are all dual totem builds. One of us has all the curses handled and the other is 100% ES. We share gear and pretty much only use what we find.

Breath of Rime isn't needed since there are three of us and things are already frozen and such. Spectres are also rather laggy for us, so we don't really use those either. Mana isn't needed because we share Auras and have all we need (is this the only reason for the Mana?).

Is something like what I posted viable? Am I missing anything? Is this just too much defense and not enough offence?

Anyone know what kind of HP/ES pool I'd have at level 70 or so with average gear?

Also some questions about Spectres: Do I need to get everything in the highest difficulty? I mean, Merciless mobs found in A3 will be better than ones in Cruel A3 right? Or is there scaling? Are there any easily accessible (since we would need 9) Spectres that wont lag us to make the points worth it? Also we have never used Skeletons before, how long do they last? Think they're worth throwing up?

This is another option for my CI buddy: http://www.pathofexile.com/passive-skill-tree/AAAAAgMBAP0BbwL-B2MRLxFQFLAWvxbzF1AXVBzcHRQigSY8LKYspyy_LUcvnTQKN2Y3gzvhPI5Cw0NjTC1QQlcrV8lY9VnzWitd8maebRlwUnDVcU1-WX_GghCCHoRIh9uIQot6jDaOPI9GkyeZmprPm6GdxKPypuunCKcrrJi297cxuJO71sAawcXB88Nt0NDa3d-E37Di9-aB6rrrY-vu7BjyHfPq99f60g==

Where would he go next though?

Hey OP!
My which after your third build (spectre+dual ice spear) is now lvl 66 and i'm wondering what suggestions you make for further skilling. do you rather increase damage skills like cast speed, crit, elemental dmg or compfort like max mana, or better survivability like energy shield, resistance?
I'm thinking right now to go for the startpoint of the templar with elemental damage nodes, 40%manared, 10%elemental dmg+res and the 6% cast speed.
would like to hear your opinion!
