holding down a button and standing still is hardly considered painful considering how much defence it gives you.

Ok i took Lord of the Dead and bought Bones of Urrl, they cost my 3gcp and then about 1gcp to make them 4L (most i've ever spent, i'm broke now lol). But wow is it good, my dps just sky rocketed!

I kept Elemental Weakness obviously but switched out Frostbite for Projectile Weakness. I just can't bring myself to take Flammability and lower the dps on the spears, i mean they have been good to me, i owe it to them.
How would Frost pulse instead of ice spear work? Frost pulse + spell totem + LMP + cold to fire + chance to ignite + faster casting

I know this is a really good build end-game and all, but for someone's first char would it be a good one to start with? Say I'm really bad at finding parties, should I still stick with this and suck it up or just make a ranger? I'm still eventually going to come back to this one, I've always been biased to the original "Mage" classes.
I want to ask with ur build, about Cold Penetration with Faster Casting. Should i use Cold Penetration instead of Faster Casting (4L: IS + GMP + Spell Totem + ???)? -32% Cold Resistance will make more damage or 36% casting speed will be better?

i have mana issues and it slows the game play down. I dont have the links to use reduced mana yet.

I've been working on an Eldritch Battery/Life version of this (basically a mixture of yours' and grrumbles' builds) and was wondering if this would be an effective alternative to the CI version?

It would have enough buffs to mana from EB, etc. to have more auras which should improve the quality of our spectres and skeletons as well as allow us to still be extremely helpful in team play without summons (in case others are getting lagged)
