Everything is going pretty well so far. Hard time finding some good ES gear to switch into CI. Just started fellshrine merci.

Good to hear :)

Yea i think i spent almost a week farming fellshrine when i didn't have any gear. Those zombies + fireball.. favorite monsters to kill :D

Hello,
I can't open the links to the passive skill tree from your first post.
Can you uppdate it?
First time playing PoE so i need something all help i can get ;)

Thank you for the guide and good explenation of everything.
Hi, love this build. I am a level 45 witch at the moment (this is my highest level character, so I'm new to this game so to say).

I just have a few questions about auras.
Since they all reserve so much mana I guess you're not able to have them all up at the same time? And of course there's the lack of place on your skill bar. Do you change your auras depending on the situations/difficulty? So far I have been running with Discipline and Clarity up at all times, I also have Purity but I don't have enough mana to use that one. What auras are the most "important" ones to have enabled? I don't have Arctic armor yet. :(
What is the best way to go about getting my hands on an Elemental Proliferation gem?

I am currently doing this build at level 40 on Anarchy and doing alright just killing them with fireballs, but the burn damage aspect is kind of wasted without that gem :)

I assume I should do whatever is in my power to buy it off someone?
It is drop only, so ya.... either extremely lucky and it drops for you, or trade or it.

Linking auras to a reduce mana gem helps alot. There are a few other ways to reduce cost of mana reserved. There is a unique that reduce mana cost of auras and there are a few passive in the skill tree that reduce aura cost(these are far from witch area though). Other then that it is a matter of gear and lvls increasing your mana pool to the point you can run more auras.

Btw, once you active an aura you don't have to keep it on your skill bar. The aura will stay up until you remove the gem, die, or quit the game.

The links seem to work for me. Have you tried refreshing the links with F5? It usually works.:)

Hey,

When your basic build is about complete you can use 4 auras at the same time. Clarity, Discipline, Purity and Grace. On my level 86 witch i have about 1650 total mana and about 600 unreserved mana pool left.

I use just one slot to change auras, basically the key thats normally bound to middle mouse i use it to apply auras, and then after I have activated those i use the same slot to cast arctic armour every time i enter a new area.

The most important aura is clarity, followed by purity/discipline, depending on if you have problems with resistance or low energy shield. Grace is the least important aura.

Those Elemental Proliferation gems are drop only i also think, it would be best to trade your way to one. It's not alpha omega to get it at the lowest levels, but yea i would get my hands on one as soon as i could. :D

GGG has to bring in custom skins in shop to fix that. All of my ES chests look like this one, and it's awful.

Crackmonster, can you briefly explain what exactly is arctic armor for in this build? On lv2 that you recommend in first post, it hardly provides any defense, but drains mana quite much on running. Also, didn't notice any ice trail behind you in your video.

Also want to say that i like the build very much. Only run one flammability curse atm (i'm lvl 50), but looking to get my hands on q20 temporal chains and doedre's ring to support it.
I think once i do it, i'll get rid of my zombies and spectre, who provide good meatshield for now. But will try to keep corpse explosion totem, because it does very good dmg (especially in group) and can be cast in new room/area in front of you to aggro flicker mobs.

On a side note, i once accidentally linked my lightning warp with spell totem - pretty useless, but quite funny effect :P

Crackmonster, Intruders in Black, Act 2 normal, gives you the option of taking either Artic Armor, Flammability or Critical Weakness. In what order should you take these spells for a level 25 ?
