Realized I wasn't going to win so went for fairgraves and got it, I was playing a ranger so it was REALLY tense. GG though.
Broke my personal best for fastest brutus kill, previous best was 30:29, I got it this time at what I think was about 28 minutes - but not sure because i didn't look at the time until a while later.

Still want to get my hands on a demigod though... hopefully soon.

EDIT: Also worth mentioning I got a Freezing Pulse drop in Terraces but didn't get a Lapis Amulet. Could have done a lot more with that if I realized I needed a Lapis amulet

Desynced BADLY at Brutus for the first half of the fight (worse than previous turbo races). Had a bubbling though... seems fair.

Ugh, had some luck when i got to coves but i guess i spent too much time to get there. Loved the format tho, 1h turbos are really fun!

My build proved bad for this format, as did the total lack of drops and orbs. Rushed straight to coves (took about 30 mins, got there at 9) and grinded to the end. Didnt quite make 15.

Tons of desync this race, was at under 20% with nothing attacking or even nearby more times than i can count. Also had a glitch where i clicked on ledge zone from upper, got the "entering ledge" notification but could still move around, notification vanishes and im not in ledge. Try again, same thing. Try 3rd time, finally works. Never had this happen before.

Anyway this format seems almost entirely luck based- couple strong drops and you just win. I guess thatll be fun once in awhile but i hope it doesnt become a race standard.

No magic weapons before lvl 15. I'm thinking dual wielding duelist is too luck based for this format. Was over 5 min behind my usual merveil killing times, and act2 was painfully slow with white sabre and broad axe. grats everyone who did better :)

Rather interesting format. I think, GGG should have some more such races.
Tried racing 2h duelist for the first time, was goin' pretty well, but lost much time at Prison and while killing brutus, so finished only top 50/#13 duelist at lvl ~13.3.
Drops were pretty good, transmut good 2h axe, had 1 alch, 2 rare 2h maces, hands and boots (but no speed).
Should've play Shadow as always, but cleave's so lovely for grinding ^^

According to http://poestatistics.com/ the top 6 consisted of one of each class.

You're not alone, desync was really bad leading up to the race for me (some practice runs), so I saw it coming. I'm not sure I've ever had so many ground slams miss every target when there were 5+ mobs targeted, all because I was stunned but the client didn't let me know, well, not until a second after the slam...

My strategy failed me, I semi rushed Coves, got there about level 9 as well, but sat there the rest of the race. Clearly Act 2 was the way to go. I hit #1 overall briefly in Coves, I tried to take a screen shot of it, but fraps wasn't on. :/

I had a couple of good drops, one pretty incredible one (gloves) but only 1 transmutation until about 5 minutes left. Never did put an amulet on, didn't notice any drop, although I'm sure a couple did. Also didn't put a chest on, don't really need one if you're just sitting in Coves as I did. Nice second weapon drop as well.
