Is this a decent endgame shield for this build? ignore the gems they are just there to level them up |

" It's a descent shield and I think great if you need the resistance. But I personally want a bit more armour (ER) and much more ES so I bought this one Too bad there is no life on it, but it was a good deal. And I dont use the anger gem, its for my other char. Lvl 77 a.t.m. and with 3k life and 1800 mana (almost 800 free mana) I can do lvl 71 maps pretty good. But I still need more mana, want about 1200 free. So I need to invest in a better helm (because no ES at all) and a 5l carcass jack. Also dominius is doable, but not easy and I sometimes die. I was looking for a new build, came across this one and decided to give it a try...
I'm glad I did, it works really good! Lvl 76 now with 4k life and 2.3k mana, plays very well. Playstyle is very different to my Aegis tank and that's good, because I needed a change. This build is relatively low cost, I like that. Thanks for sharing this one Arkon9944! |

In the required gear, it says "The boots to get a 5L with Shock Nova." Shouldn't be 4L? Also, is a 5L requiredon on one gear for this buuld? I'm asking because 5L is much more expansive than 4L. In other words, is it doable with a 4L and if yes, can you recommand 5L and 4L gems setting. Also, for gears, I'll apreciate if you can please add what mods are in order of importance for each (except belts and boots because uniques). I'm trying to evaluate the cost range (base acceptable to optimal) of your build. If it's below 10 chaos, I will add it to my cheap builds list thread. Thanks

" Boots are considered 5L as you get a free lvl 11 trap support gem. A 5L chest isn't that expensive these days unless you want a high level modded one. But I suppose you could run this with a 4L. I picked up a lvl 48 5L for 1 chaos. The sunblsat belt is likely your biggest expense. | |

How do you guys deal so much dmg?
I'm at level 70 atm, 2.3k life and 1.5k mana, but my damage i deal just seems so low. Ice Nova at about 700, shock nova at around 800 and fire trap with about 1.2k with all gems at lvl17... Just unable to find out how you guys can push that dmg so high... Maybe its just my bs gear, but its so hard to find some decent gear with the first char :/ |

My gems are lvl18 except bear trap lvl20.
Dmg for bear is 6.4k, fire 2k, ice 1.1k, shock 1.1k Stopped my build @ lvl81, felt like it was finished :) Had fun with it... Gear:

really enjoying the style of this char atm i tweaked a few changes for mine tho
using searing touch and cloak of defiance and grabbed all the acrobatics passives and ondar's guile and some more radius% to make up for not having carcass jack and divinarius |
