Boots and Belt are the two items that are required I guess. The carcass jack is a item to strive for but by no means required IMO. I'm 63 right now and haven't ran into any issues whatsoever. Once I start maps I don't foresee it being too big of a deal.
What is your guy's opinions on running artic armor with this? at my current level 65, I have around 100 mana regen, though I have not specced into MoM yet.
What is your view, do you think it'll be a big benefit/viable endgame? I feel I'll probably have to look for mana regen on my gear, maybe prioritize it on the rings over the crit chance.
Anyone actually tried Infernal Mantle with this? Would bring a ton of amazing bonuses, though I worry the combination with MoM will put me into a death spiral if I run into a pack of high damage casters.

It is more of an softcore item. Fire trap scales amazingly with levels and since 1.0.2 patch burning part of it scales with spell damage and fire damage modifiers too. Also, 100% to global critical strike chance is really good. However, I need to test how bad is that 100% increased spell damage taken on low mana.

Yea Arctic Armour works well with this build, well it works well with any Eldritch Battery builds really.
But yea then getting mana regen on rings and amulets is a must if you want to get it 15+

Also in terms of the Bear Trap 4 link. I would reccomend going with increased critical damage instead of the increased rarity support if you don't mind losing that rarity for quite a bit more damage.
So....since we really really want ignites from our fire trap as opposed to the burning left behind....wouldn't we want to use chance to ignite gem as opposed to burning damage for our 6L?
at level 78 and loving it. Really enjoying how mobile this build is compared to my melee and archer. Press q>w>e>then run etc etc. It helps surviving at new area where you have no idea what monsters are there (especially 68Maps above).

@poster above me. if you don;t have that high crit then chance for ignite might seems like better options. But it seems 35%+ crit is enough for igniting enemy, right? (or the IBD gem with quality has additional %ignite too), CMIIW.
