You use reduced duration on ice nova trap and shock nova traps to make them trigger instantly. Sunblast gives 80% reduced trap duration and when you add that 25% reduced duration from the gem, traps trigger instantly. And you use level 1 gem because leveling the gem doesnt give us any benefit :P

I do aswell think this build really needs HP regen as you don't life leech with traps.. Golems blood and the 1% life 40% mana at scion together do the job for me so far. I do take more life % nodes then the original build as I play nemesis. All the crit nodes can come after or when my gear can sustain 4500-5000 life atleast

Because you want to use 2 auras. And if you can boost it effects a little, why not :D

Physical damage is good for your bear trap,
Flat life (+20) is very good with all the + x% we have
Str is also required for some gems

I dont really like the Life&Mana node above EE because the life are too low (6%) i will respec those above Harrier as soon as my gear allow me to do so.
Actually i dont know if i really need those nodes but im lazy to try it out now.

1. this build can't have moving skill... A good way to do this?

2. now build cwdt - temporal chain - endurying cry

for high dam, how about critical weakness or elemental weakness?

3. this build high cri chance, how about COC?

You dont have enough space for CWDT :
Ice nova / shock nova / fire trap / bear trap
2 auras
lightning warp

You are not the one doing critical but your traps. That means no damage from reflect but also no life leech, mana leech etc.. nor possibility to use COC.


Actually using elemental weakness. Not really sure what's the best.
Is the Dmg of the Traps (Fire Trap, Shock Nova + Trap , Ice Nova + Trap ) based on Spelldmg or anything else ? Cause im looking for Gear right now and im confused by this. Does Spelldmg give me any +DPS with the Traps ? Or should i look for crit on spells ?

I tried my hand at it till level 53 and was never able to get any real damage done with it... some guidance would be great...

general mob is one shot.. but boss difficult

also efficiency of EE low..
I think fire trap -> fire resi +25% -> buring dmg -25%
So being troubled
What do you all think if substituting Lightning warp in for shock nova. I've tried it and the damage is great, it also proficiently shocks everything
it is viable, but i dumb the instant explode though, i fill the 1 slot gem with penetration for more dmg. If you threw it to mobs it will explode anyway. And i change the sunblast to 120 life + 3 ele res belt for higher maps.

Lightning warp is for movement, so i am confuse why you would change it to shock nova.

question for other trappers:
People suggest to just change to freeze mine perma freeze for the 4L ice nova part coz it is the big thing now (freeze mine + Inc AOE + ele prolif + cold pen). I am not sure how that works though, havent tried that combination. But it would meant no EE and just be a pure freezer.
