So sorry to re ask this... But... Is it conclusive the shock nova is better that lightning trap? Should I ditch my 20/20 and grab a shock nova?

I've been using this is my first HC character, in Cruel as a lvl 40 and so far it's working well. I do use multitrap on my frost novas, but I may stop that here shortly and just multi my lightning and fire. I don't have shock nova yet, as currency is hard to come by in a fresh economy, so I'm still trying to save for the belt, but I will say I've stayed safe, and only had 1 real scare.

It's an ACTIVE build and a lot of fun, much more motion than any other build I've used yet and it keeps you constantly moving. Add to that the new stress of hardcore and I'm loving it.

What would you link in gems if you had a 6L searing touch and a 5L cloak of defiance?

BTW if anyone needs a 20% shock nova i have one for trade on domination.

1 exalted or equiv is the price.

Currently lvl 53 running this build in domination. Really haven't struggled at all up to act 1 merciless which is where I currently am.

cannot thank the poster for this build as it's most definitely one of the most enjoyable I've tried.
managed to score a cheap sunblast belt as well which makes a huge difference.

Also wondering if the original poster could post their gear so we can have some kind of stats to aim for :)

They need to be in Deerstalkers which makes them a lvl 11 trap.
