I have touched PoE for some time now, and I see this thread is still very much alive, I stopped playing when this thread were around 30-40 pages :P But I would be very glad if you could summarize some of the "new" stuff up for me and also help me out with my gear. I am currently a level 67 Ranger and looking forward to leveling. Guys I don't want to spam too much but I was user of 5L Danmaku until recently, was frustrated because of 1 spell attack limit for 5L and I tried to work on improving that.
Ultimately I've modified build for spectral throw, mana regen and 2 attack spells. Results are pretty good, this is clearly better choice if you have 5L armor, even possibly if you have 6L, procs are insane, gameplay is safer and clear speed improves. Good thing is that you use same tree and gear (and most of rest, gems etc) as Danmaku so transferring is easy. " Wow nice, hopefully you can answer a few more of my questions, what variation of this build are you using? Do you mind posting your gear? How is your survivability? How are maps for you? Can you farm most areas and clear them with ease? Sorry about having so many questions, but after making a build that was disappointing i'd like to know what I am getting myself into. Anyone else with a build feel free to answer these as well, Id love different characters accounts of their playing. |

I am lvl 65 now and switched over to CoC gear after using a bow through leveling. My dps seems pretty decent considering the lvl level of my gems, but my survivability is just...not good. My res are a bit of a mess and my hp is not very high. Ofc I'm not very high level yet so it will improve, but 2900 LP has proven to be not enough. 5500 armor after getting Iron Reflexes, though I'm not sure how much I should be having here.
I should mention though that my flasks are close to a non-factor when playing. It's pretty much just Quicksilver that is being used, with the others not doing anything, so I should fix that too. |

Sorry for double post, but no one else is posting anything and I wanted to share some good news:
Finaly managed to 6-link my Carcass! My damage feels pretty good, but my survivability is still an issue. Hoping it will fix itself through more levels/passives. |

idk what problems you're facing, but ungil's gauche and surgeon's granite flask of iron skin are great for survival, vaal pact too |

My life isn't all that high and neither is my armor. My resists are capped, but if I don't life leech through Vaal Pact for just a few seconds, I tend to die.
