Karmak, soilmaker got nothin' on tunneltrap. Even before he got toned down - Tunnel trap has a big ol' "BOOM! YO' DED. DEE EE DEE SON!" Karmak is just "ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow okay you died"

Far shot apply's a MORE multiplier to the attack dependent on projectile travel distance.

Yeah this guy just now made me quit PoE...

Seams the only thing GGG can do to keep the game "hard" is having 1 shot mechanics.

I went to the forums after I figured out what killed me. If you don't read guides, watch videos or similar stuff you will end up running into something that will one-shot you... which makes me sick of this game.

I like to run around solo (99% of the time) and explore, figure stuff out... but when it takes a few days to level and gear a new char that just get 1 shotted by cheap gimmicks which you have 0 chance of predicting (level 66 maps, I've done almost all of them now, now I never will).

I've never failed to kill anything with my summoner builds, never had to port to town to refresh pots, and yet all of them had died to various 1shots (several Nemessis bosses before they got nerfed, Beyond archer with Barrage and what I think is Cold snap on crit or something).

Add to that, desync, lagspikes, lockboxes loading lag (killed my first Beyond char)...

I'm sorry GGG, enough is enough.

I tried this guy once. Once. Not a huge issue, but it does seem strange to include material like this that people simply refuse to use.
His "fireballs" are ranged physical attacks, so having ondar's guile or blinding him as suggested can help greatly. If running armor based char with IR you can use jade+granite flask to greatly reduce that damage. If you have neither armor nor evasion, you're going to get shredded.
But honestly, the boss isn't worth it. Just skip him or vendor 3 orchard maps into whatever 67 map it gives.

Playing Orchard tier 8 (75 map).

I have capped elemental resists (75%), 4.600 HP, 50% physical reduction and 28% block.

Just got one-shot by that thing. From full to zero, at close range.

Is that intended mechanic? Because it sure doesn't look like so.
I dropped from 6.2k to a few hundred hp when his ball hit me. You just don't want to get hit by that thing, especially if there's any dmg mods on the map.
