lvl 55 is doable but it is going to be hard as your minions are not that strong yet. At that lvl, nothing much you can do but level up your minion gems and auras. Auras should be Vitaly / Purity of elements > Grace > Determination. Also potions with minion healing is quite a must to have. You can try to reduce being hit with enfeeble too.

As for the passive tree, I would suggest you to go for reduced mana passives instead of aura buffs at first.

edited to add. You seem to be missing Necromantic Aegis. That is quite a big boost for minions defense, I would recommend you to take it.

I've noticed that when you pull them out of combat often, they'll activate it.

I run up to a pack, let them melee a couple times, warp away, and go back. They'll usually activate it on the first or second pack of a map for me.

Just wondering, how do you get 200+ IIR when you have IIQ on your gloves, belt, and shoes? I can't figure out how you get 200+ with just one Andvarius...

Is it possible you're just overlooking the flask and item rarity gem? Getting over 200% should be relatively easy with some decent gear. Here's my current breakdown:

67% - item rarity gem
42% - helm
68% - andvarius
43% - other ring
38% - amulet
52% - flask
-20% - aurumvorax
------
290%

To OP, just wondering, how come you don't take any of the other +1 Zombies nodes like Gravepact or Grave Intentions? I'm at the point where I'm deciding between getting those extra points into buffs or resistances versus minion nodes like I mentioned earlier.

^^Would you mind elaborating some more? Both Grave Intentions and Gravepact are both DIRECTLY off the skill tree that is being used without any unnecessary movement. I can understand not wanting to go for Grave Expectations in the upper left of the tree since you have to take extra intelligence and life nodes to get to it, but Gravepact has those minion life nodes that I would assume be useful to further buff up our minions' life and Grave Intentions has those minion damage nodes for further damage? No extra nodes to get to these whatsoever. Is taht Inner Force cluster for the buffs and that Cold and Lightning Resistance nodes at the bottom really that much more important? I'm just trying to understand the rationale because in my mind, I would have thought that having extra zombies on the field for more damage would be more useful.

I'm curious about your recommendation for the witch tree past level 80.


I was thinking this is what I would do, or i could drop life & chaos res node and clear mind and grab the 2 aura effect nodes in the top left but i'm unsure, would really like your opinion.
