March 21 Updates: Flask System Dev Diary/Screenshot of the Week

Those of you who want to hoard flasks can go right ahead. I'll keep my inventory open so that when you're overburdened with 30 flasks I'll still have plenty of room for all the sw33t l00t.

Hey, Chris not sure if this has been brought up, but are the flasks independent of each other or can a flask be a support flask? Let me give you an example.

Say i have 4 flasks that heal 200 HP and they all hold 4 charges. So then could my fifth flask have a support effect like all flasks hold 5 charges and heal 20% slower.
Yes good sir, I enjoy slaying mythical creatures.
In advance I apologize for the English, do not use so I use a translator.

As posed by the fact that the bottles are filled by attacking enemies or taking damage seems very practical, since I am among those who enjoy most of playing co-op with friends who engage in duels, for me it's perfect the system they are implemented.

I really like what they are doing I look forward to enjoy this title soon.

I like tpapp's view on the hording of flasks. :]

Also, I don't think DarkRookie's question was answered and I am wondering too. Do the flasks fill up one at a time or does each get one charge before the first gets another?

I really want to try this.

You haven't really answered DarkRookie's question on how multiple flasks fill up. If charge is split over all flasks, how fast newly equipped flask fills up if other 4 are full? 4/5 of charge dissapears, or 5th flask receives full charge e.g. it fills up 5 times faster than if all 5 flasks were empty?

If you have several flasks that are say 4/5 full and you gain a flask charge, it'll fill one of the flasks to 5/5 full.

We don't have anything like this for now, but it's definitely worth thinking about.

Sounds like something that would be better off being on the belt.

Couldn't agree more.
He who fights with monsters
might take care lest he thereby
become a monster.

Which flask gets charge is totally at random? If it's so, how about "X affinity (for charge)" modifier - flask with highest affinity is charged first, then flask with second highest affinity, etc.

1. Very low affinity
2. Low affinity
3. Medium affinity
4. High affinity
5. Very high affinity

With 2 or more flasks having same affinity, which one gets charge would be on random. That way, a single flask with great stats and "very high affinity" would be top loot, but equipping all flasks with "very high affinity" would work much less predictable than combining flasks of different affinity. It might sound too complicated for some, but I would love such a deal.

But for example if you need effects of other flasks that have low affinity but you cant use them because you have to heal often?
Repent! That's what i'm talking about!
