ok i got both 1.5% life regen so i have 3% life regen and blood rage with -60% chaos resist hurt a lot.its like if i havent any regen at all.i guess blood rage wont be a option anymore without really nice gear, big hp pool, and mabey more regen...
p.s:lvl 57 just finished merciless act1.wasnt that bad.killed brutus first try/marveil first try.still have bad gear ^^ p.s1:started to farm crossroad/fellshrine.will farm there till lvl 62 (currently 59) and i just got a gear upgrade finaly.tried my luck with a alchi orb on a dragonbone weapon :P went from like 1k8 dps to 2k4 and my leech start to work better :) still need another good one and some better evasion gear....my hp start to grow also,1k9.im getting all my left over hp nods currently.here my new wep,not insane but decent p.s2: lvl 60 i got 3.4% life regen now and i started to use blood rage a little and it getting better.can use it now when its not to dangerous.my dmg was definitly whath lacked, with my new sword everything start to get better.i kill way faster and my defence is also better because of that. What gets me about the build in the OP is how little offense there seems to be in it. Granted I fully qualify as a noob in this game but when I play a character with so few offensive passives I start to feel like my damage is just worthless.

" by so few offence you are talking about passive?skill? all meele build need to get LOT of defencive passive to just survive so yes we need to take lot of defencive passive.on this build there is still some good ofence passive for the skill we have flicker/dual strike/cleave /2 offence.cleave is supported by 5 offencive and dual strike 3.that make those 2 skill really powerfull.this build also have insane attack speed so all that together make it really effective. the best defence of this build is basicly offence.we hit hard we leech a lot.at the begening it start a little slow but when you will reach a higther lvl,got some link support on your main skill, get faster attack, you will see that its pretty offencive.this build shine with good gear and higther lvl.i dont remeber how much was the dps of ceto but if i remeber it was like 15-30k depending of the skill.he was lvl 80 so still lot of room for improvement and now with act3 we have lot more passive point to spend to that dps can jump up even more. |

I would LOVE to see someone post their builds using this build like this:
"This is my build at level 20:" "This is my build at level 35:" "This is my build at 45: , I went back and took a damage node or whatever" etc. Its impossible to determine how someone leveled when a build is posted that is for a level 70 player. I still don't know if you should take Blood Magic when you get to it or wait until you fill out the Marauder starting area. I also have no idea about leveling gems and what gems to use as I keep seeming to screw it up. What gems did you take as rewards in normal, for example? What weapon suggestions do people have for early levels? I was lucky enough to find Blood Rage, but my current health and life leech cannot sustain it. Also some things I learned as both a newbie and someone who is liking this build: This is my build as someone who has just completed normal: http://www.pathofexile.com/passive-skill-tree/AAAAAgIAAdEC0AOHBS0OrRjbG60hYCmlNYY1kjqzQKBDnEjuSlNKfU7IVvpbr2BLZ6BwcnTtdPF4rnrvh3aQCpVmnaqeua_ruc3TfttV3Q3tg-4O_MU= Going straight for Iron Reflexes was a wise choice. I didn't even have to take life nodes until Act 3. After getting IR I went straight to the Life Regen node - I then filled out life. I think on a new character I won't bother meleeing until I get IR. Leveling/getting ahold of/socketing gems is a pain in the rear. I screwed myself by leveling Wrath past what I had int for, and I have to often find new gear that has the sockets I need for all these reds, blues, and greens. I carry around gems I think I need for high level play so I keep them on even though I don't use them (like Flicker Strike). I think I am doing something wrong. I really only ever use Fire Trap, Dual Strike, and Cleave I think I would level a witch to kill brutus for clarity as it is immensely helpful. I did so for wrath but I couldn't really tell if wrath was worth halving my mana pool. Its easy to use mana flasks, in any case. Even the low level ones fill out the pool. Fire Trap is damn amazing and a huge help. I often would just use it on its own if things were too dangerous. My damage in a party is crap. Its like I'm just pretending to hit things. At least I live through things that wipe everyone else out. I've been trying to stick to rapiers even though I don't really know why. I would love some weapon suggestions for early levels. Why not use claws since they have inherent life leech? Too slow? Last edited by Generic_Bad_Guy#3643 on Jan 28, 2013, 5:02:27 PM

I'm pretty sure you want to avoid rapiers unless you have significant crit chance. I mean obviously if you have a rapier with fantastic stats and it's just out right better than whatever else you have you can use it. It's just that the implicit mod on rapiers is crit multiplier and if you haven't invested in crit chance that multiplier is mostly a waste.

" this build was made in CB and ceto was using diamond flask really often so that why he was using rapier.in OB they remouved that flask :( so yes rapier might be less effective now.im using them right now and it still work great and i dont miss that much but yes,+accuracy weapon could be a better option, will look at that |
|
How well would this work with Dual Rapiers?
|
|
" well its fine but like odin said, now that we cant use diamond flask (100% crit chance) anymore,it might be better to get sword with accuracy chance.would like the opinion of ceto on that. |

What's the point of using culling strike with cleave since it reduces so much our cast / attack speed? is the third property that good?
