[1.0.6] 1H shield infernal blow marauder/duelist with video by boxsalesman ( immortal build )

Thanks for share this build, looks the closest that I was searching for.

Now, would be Holy Fire a good skill to this build?
I am pretty overwhelmed by 2H dps, I tried unique 2H that my friend use and it made my 1H+shield really low dps-wise. It double my dps with 2H (not even taking passive 2H nodes). So ever think to make this build 2H version? It will be interesting :D

ZiggyD's "Heavy Metal Marauder" is this build for 2-Handers. But since your Character is still lvl 58 you have a lot of potential even with 1-Handers. The benefit of Box' build is that he is simply tankier and can play a lot safer since you have a shield. A shield can give you over 1000 armour (before buffs by passivetree!) and attacks come faster and not in huge bursts which makes playing against reflect a little bit more confortable.

I prefer 1H builds, but 2H is perfectly viable as well

Any skill gem with a requirement higher than the required level of CWDT will not work with CWDT

Obligatory "didnt read the topic but will post anyway" post.

After taking all the keystones in the build, should I go for more block nodes (like bulwark at templar's) or opt for more HP (Scion's HP wheel)? Currently I'm lvl 85 sitting at 4,5k hp.

Sure, I saw the 'high level build' which goes for the max block, but I'm concerned about the hard hitters / chaos spikes like alchemists. Also, having 5,5+k hp should feel more safe overall.


Edit: maps atm feel kinda safe for me except jungle valley boss when I cannot refill my ameth flask before it wears off and eat a couple of weaver EK's while being eaten by 5 stacks of viperstrike.
