Sure, I saw the 'high level build' which goes for the max block, but I'm concerned about the hard hitters / chaos spikes like alchemists. Also, having 5,5+k hp should feel more safe overall.


Edit: maps atm feel kinda safe for me except jungle valley boss when I cannot refill my ameth flask before it wears off and eat a couple of weaver EK's while being eaten by 5 stacks of viperstrike.

I guess it's a bit of a personal preference, but I haven't ever had trouble with things getting close to one shotting me , although the collonade boss with extra damage and vulnerability was pretty dangerous. The main reason I start going for block is because the more block you have , the better every % of block gets , just like resists.

realy interesting build. i think to try it but i got some specific gear i wanna use.
In your build passive tree there r 4.5% hp /sec nodes + 0.2 per edurance which is a lot.
so i think to use this item combination for this build:


what do u think if it will work?(aswell i'm going to have 60% chaos res on merciless)

If you manage to pull off such high chaos resist that should work pretty well, I myself couldn't find any decent chaos resist piees that are still affordable.

ye, its not a problem, got alrdy lot of chaos res good gear..+ will take some 'all res nodes aside this skill tree path (like diamond skin), so will need less common resists and will be able to make more chaos resists pieces. + i am not using shield so if i will gear shield it will be even easier to get all resists 77+chaos res
btw im going to use maradeur, just will start from other position, it will be still the same build.
btw weapon elemental dmg rings are suitable here?

and if this build depends so much of aegis aurora? cuz i dont have it :(
and can u tell me your IB 4L dps? (if u have 5l inside, can u pls just remove 1 gem and check the dps nombers with hatered)

AA isn't obligatory though it makes things 1000x easier. I would consider buying it ASAP.

IB 4L dps must be around 3-4(with insanely good gloves/jewelry)k depending on your weapon with no dmg auras on.

Been running this build, level 51 thus far and I must say that it has been working excellent.

The build is also extremely fun, would recommend to anyone!

Not really , you lose lots of armour and are forced to go iron reflexes if you run a bringer of rain. If you want to use a bringer of rain you're better off going an unarmed version of this build.

I currently have about 37 chaos saved up, and looking for my next big upgrade. would you mind checking out my gear here and letting me know if you have any suggestions? I am max resists currently. My dps seems kinda trashy, and my armor might be a litle low? currently running determination / tempest shield with blood magic clarity. Moving to hatred would be nice but determination seems safer.

currently lvl 70, farming piety for maps.

I had a BoR drop while running maps. At the time, I was in desperate need of a chest upgrade. I was poor (still) and I could've sold the BoR and splurged on uber gear. I really want to keep the BoR for a future toon so I had to opt for chest-less.

It was a huge increase in Armor and HP for me, yes my gear was that bad.
Level 83 now and still using BoR. Still facetanking most bosses, granted I haven't done any maps higher than 75.

Having a normal gear setup is definitely better, but the BoR is a good temporary solution to gear problems in my opinion - if you already have it. Also if still able to max resistances.

Had to respec some block and HP nodes to get Iron Reflexes, which I will respec out of once I get a proper chest piece.
