I'm trying this build in my lv 31 scion and i'm having a little hard time leveling. Any tips?

If you are playing Domination, the claws cost as cheap as 4 chaos. Having them as your first item is the best way to make things easier.

For me, I started playing with Scions first skill up to having Incinerate and the claws. All running smooth since then, and I'm on 74th lvl now. And using 40% buckler since this time too, a very cheap item as well.

Later, the Stone of Lazhwar is a great cheap amulet for magic defense.
Yeah the claws look really nice, I don't have em yet but leveling is going pretty smooth even without them.

I leveled to about 37 as something else and made the switch to the Incinerate. I'm playing in Nemesis so I'm using a resistance shield for now but my damage is good enough to kill stuff pretty fast even without the extra spell damage.

To give you an idea of what I'm using now I'm still low level:

As you can see I have very little extra damage on my gear but the build is still reasonably effective. Most of this is selffound, too.
I don't see it anywhere, has anyone tried using vaal pact with this, we are all of 3 skill points away, and the instant regen from incinerate seems like it would be helpful on big hits.

Yes. I'm using VP while I do end-game maps right now. From what I'm seeing so far, it's not that bad. There have been a few situations where a couple pots would've been more helpful, but that's the tradeoff when using VP. I can't say for certain if it's worth using end-game yet, but it looks good so far imo.

I tried it out and was unhappy with it actually. It felt like my life dropped a lot more, I was apparently missing my significant life regen. But on the other side of that, it works great with lightning thorns and makes it ALMOST liveable...
its an awesome build, just grabbed the claw and leveled without any problems (outside of lightning thorns) and had a blast with it.

im lvl74 so far, had no problems with any maps till maplevel 70, including the most mods. im avoiding temporal chains and no regen maps tough since im pretty afraid of the combination.

im still curious about some things:

1) would you consider elemental weakness instead of flammability ? the pure number of resistance reduction is the same, but it also affects tempest shield. the ignite effect of flammabiliy shouldnt be that much of a dps boost since each projectile of incinerate triggers it. im still testing it, but i could not get a solid solution.

2) im currently at 170mana/s and not able to use aa permanently. did you achieve that much manaregen just through the dream shard ? right now im turning it on between the packs.

3) what map mods do you consider as hard/not doable ?

really love that build, muchthankssowow ! :D

Just have to throw this on here, I'm now level 61 and have gone through Piety (No Dominus yet) and I haven't had a single bit of trouble.

Last night, I solo ran a level66 map with the +25%speed/attack/dmg/life mod for the monsters without a single hiccup, which at level 61 feels impressive in my head. This build is built well, though I wish I had followed your advice on the endurance charge bandit reward. I forget to use enduring cry all the time, so didn't feel it was worth it, with cast on damage taken... I was wrong. Regardless, Here's my current build:

Loving it so far, and thank you so much for posting this here, I've had a lot of builds, but have always still run that feeling of not being tanky. I officially get to feel tanky now.

(I have about 2k life and about 1500 mana)
Hey guys. I've posted here a few times and am a HUGE fan of this build. I am currently in uncharted territory at lvl 72 with 6 skills left to allocate. I'd love some suggestions on where to go next. I am currently working on 6L-ing my Lightning Coil but, besides that, I think I am pretty solid on the gear aspect.

As far as the build is concerned, I have a few options that I have been considering.

1) Going into the Ranger area to pick up the +10 block chance but it seems like a few wasted points with melee damage and Fitness. This was originally the reason I went right instead of left at Sentinel.

2) Stretching over to Unwavering Stance and then snagging Iron Reflexes. I think this might be my best option.

3) Grabbing some +Aura Effect and Reduced Mana.

4) Grabbing more life. Always a super solid option.

Also, I've been setting up to run Discipline but I am not exactly sure of the reasoning. At this point, I have much more mana without it and my regen is good enough that it doesn't dip in either case... Suggestions?

So did Incinerate just get buffed? My DPS suddenly went from 700dps to 1081DPS =D
