For people who are looking to buy the items, I paid less than 1ex for cybil, 1.5ex for the boots, 1ex for the spirit shield and 7 chaos for The Anvil on Domination.

As stated previously by several posters; swap out Faster Projectiles for Added Chaos Damage. Your range will be shortened but nothing gives as much of a damage boost as ACD.

I have read it, just was not able to get the right color on my chest until now.



My DPS is currently sitting at 765 which is a big increase. Hoping to get 1000 soon.

I read that a lot of people changed faster projectiles for added chaos damage but... did you have in mind the 20% damage effectiveness of incinerate?

I think this 4 gems are a must:

- Incinerate (of course ^_^)
- Life leech
- Mana leech
- GMP

The other 2 may be changed. I am thinking in the followings:

- Added chaos damage
- Faster casting
- Fire penetration
- Faster projectiles
- LMP

What do you prefer?

I have to test LMP + GMP but maybe the shotgun effect increases... or maybe not. Did you try it?

Making fast calculations I think that fire penetration adds more damage than added chaos damage (remember the 20% damage effectiveness) but I may be wrong, and the quality of added chaos damage is the worst amongst all the gems listed.

I am not sure and I have to test it a bit but I think my choices for 5th and 6th gems are Fire penetration and Faster Casting.

I hope you can share you thoughts about that and explain why you think one gem is better than another for this build.

that build looks quite ok , but without fire pen and ur dps u will do little to no dmg on fire resist maps , especcially when half of all mobs are fire rseistant as is.

I have near 9k armour right now, and I'm doing well without Unwavering Stance. Most things can't stun me. Except maybe those huge skeletons outside of rares and uniques. After an enfeeble and a granite, I don't think much can stun me.

And about linking Item Rarity or Item quantity to Incinerate? Does it work and worth the slot? Any ideas or tests?

It'll work just fine. You're just making the classic trade-off between kill speed and magic find.

Hello everyone

Currently enjoying this build a lot, very nice clear speeds so far, and it's a fun playstyle. I'm using a 16% incinerate atm and my char is level 44 I believe, about half way through act 2 cruel in Domination. What is the bestgem to use with a 4th link? I see people usin mana leech but I don't have one available to test ATM. What options do I have? Also, I'm following this skill tree the way it is in the build, does anybody have a better or optimized tree or is it pretty decent?

I'm having a lot of trouble handling Lightning Thorns to the point of even being afraid to use Incinerate in areas where there is a possibility of that being used.

So I started using EK on those areas. However, in order for EK to be actually effective I'd have to use Hatred, which ends up being kinda complicated socket-wise for me.

So, does anyone have any suggestion? Any other skill that doesn't require much commitment (ie works on a 4L), scales well with this passive tree and doesn't get murdered by Lightning Thorns?

the best way to deal with thorns is.. use lightning warp and stomp on the mages ass as quickly as you see them. later... incinerate is soo fast the mages die very fast.
i also use a totem with ek knives to draw aggro.
