[1.0.4]Scion - Incinerate Tank - Mind over Matter, EB, almost Max Block | Facetank a lot of stuff
I noticed that you take EB before you take MoM. How do you deal with losing half of your defenses before taking MoM to make up for it? Wouldn't it make sense to take MoM first? Or even both at the same time?

" Speaking as someone who just leveled at that, I got a bit flabbergasted at first, but then I realized it enabled me to life leach with incinerate for near immortality. I guess if your equipment allows you to cast incinerate/your spell of choice. You don't need it that early in the build. |

Wouldnt using grace and Iron reflexes be really good on this build ? since your armor is so low... I guess it would come down to if you could find the right armor.

" That's probably more of a late-game addition. The points are easy-enough to come by, probably just drop the ~5-ish pts the OP uses to go into the Witch area and put those towards IR. You can replace the 9% cast speed near the Scion starting area. The trickier part is leaving enough mana left over with 2 x 60% auras to make use of MoM without accidentally disabling AA. Probably doable, but might take some good ES gear to push up your max mana enough. An Alpha's Howl would be great for adding Grace. 8% less mana reserved, Freeze immunity (itself awesome for incinerate spamming), etc. Also, if you do work in IR+Grace, you might tweak the bottom of the tree to pickup Steel Skin for 30% more Armor. I think the general idea is that Ligtning Coil reduces the physical damage by a huge deal.
It's sort of an armor that gives 40% damage reduction if backed by lightning resistance. Got lucky and rolled it to 6 sockets at the 30th try or so. Now to 5/6-link it. I got a feeling spending points towards life would keep you alive longer, than spending them on armor. However not grabbing Iron Reflexes makes me feel kind of queasy, considering that I could probably drop a 30-Dex node after grabbing the +10 on the way. Armor suffers from pretty brutal diminishing returns, don't it? It would probably be effective to have at least some, (Thinking grace converted to armor by IR, here). Besides our favorite armor pieces got evasion on them. Anyone consider taking the 10% elemental resistance nodes next to the +shield block%? Having 32% Baseline resistance would make the equipment a lot less restrictive. I don't know if you guys use the can't be frozen/stunned stuff. But I have yet to get them, even if the HP pool is small, Block+MoM makes it so that it's really ever a huge problem. I think getting Alpha Howl would be really sweet, though. " i believe its actually 40%, the armor already has mom and + the 10% | |
" What i mean is that why not just go MoM and pick another armor which got resist and good armor. Because I just saw that armor 6 link go for 16 exalted and that's not cheap! |

i feel like in parties this build would suck so bad can someone tell me what its like
