Something else i would like trying is renouncing the Clever Construction node cluster and try freezing with just Cold Snap + Crit chance (or cold pen) + crit multi + prolif (i.e no trap for cold snap). In theory, when i crit (and it should crit often), it should do a lot of cold dmg, resulting in longer freeze time. But on the other hand, IF i don't crit, i would have to wait for the cold snap's cool down to finish, putting me in danger. And also, for some bosses that destroy my traps, i'm not sure the freeze period would be enough for me to lay a couple of traps. can i ask what gems would u put in a fire trap 4L at endgame, im thinking fire trap - ele prolif - conc effect and either increased crit damage or fire pen, which is more viable to you?

Pohx, i've tweaked my build a little, taking some ev nodes but ditching the High Explosives cluster:
Tree: Calc: I guess this would be a cheaper crit build, if you don't have the required items. And if you have the items, overall it should give more dmg than before (though i didn't do any math, so i'm not totally sure about this). You also gain some additional crit chance as well. ps: in my tree above i have 3 additional used points, 2x 20% mana regen and 1x 8% mana, but i see you're doing fine without them.
