Hi,

Just a suggestion for the non-crit trapper build.

Instead of what you have you could just swap your crit damage gem for chance to ignite.

This is what i've been using and it's proven quite effective so far.

These are my links for clarity:

I've been doing lvl 70 maps and usually 1 shotting rare mobs with fire trap (plus everything around it) - The curse I use is flammability for increased chance to ignite for more reliable ignites, as I have no crit chance or multiplier at this point.

What do you think?

Also i've been taking a few block nodes and been using tempest shield instead of grace, which is a bit easier on the mana.

I'm not a fan of chance to ignite, but if it works for you then keep using it :)

Tempest can't match grace's insane armor bonus unless you're running in groups and there is already a grace, in that situation you will usually run a different aura or disc

Hi, first of all thank you for the guide and all the time you are putting in to this :]

I myself recently started playing the game, after dying with my 2h-Sword ST Ranger on 67 I decided to pick up a trapper, your builds have been very helpful :)

My trapper is now level 76 and I had a question regarding the crit-build, from what I can see its diffrent from the tree that you are running in your Crit Trapper Rotation video > http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=00SbZRQkeHE

Its diffrent when you look at how you reach Saboteur / Assassination. In the build that you have here in the guide > http://www.pathofexile.com/passive-skill-tree/AAAAAgABBS0IZxOeFSAYPBjbGYYc3B6UIWAkPCaVKaUqTSzpLUctqDGeMhg1kjZ7OuE_J0CgRitGcUk7SVFKfUrITeNOKk6bUEJTMVVLVi1abVuvW7td8l76YEtnoGwWbqpvnm-8cFFwUnDVdO108XrvfjN-sH_Ggh6DCYPbhTKHdohCiPGMNo_6ks2S85MnkzqeuaSRpLGmV6bnp1ysP6xHrFmsf7GQswO0DLSjtfK3dbfWvSfAUcHFwzrKSsrTznHYVNsL21nb59xX3Q3jhOdj6yzsGO4V8h3yRfno_Ev8q_zF_gr-jw==

It seems that you go through Mental Acuity, but in your video it doesnt look like that =)
Would you recommend going for Saboteur / Assassination faster if my mana is okay? I have the unique flask aswell :)

It's always easier for me to get the youtube video up before I edit the guide, To edit the guide, I have to run through countless lines of text, create links etc which is extremely time consuming, Regardless they're both fine, I prefer the crit damage route, Also if you notice my chest piece i;m not using carc anymore so i;m able to drop the mana regen

str/int vs int/int with adjacent life nodes, the str/int was taken because that's how I level'd up you can change it to your own liking

Sick response time! :D

Ah I understand, thank you once again for your time :)

Props for the great guide!

Have a couple of questions:
1. What is your opinion on the DoT nodes for the trapper, so far?
2. Would you recommend them for the crit/non-crit trappers alike?

Also have a request for the first post -
Could you please put up your the sill tree with DoT changes in the first post?
If it's already there, I apologize. Just can't seem to find it. I know its in the 1.03 update video, but would be nice to have it for easy reference here.

Thanks again.

I'm still testing stuff around to see if the changes are 100% absolute, if I end up changing the skill tree too early then revert back it's going to annoy a lot of players xD

That being said, once i've obtained all the nodes and verify they're good. I'll change the build around, the Videos are like little updates to what i'm playing around with just so people understand the build is constantly getting updated

I am Currently In Favor Of The New Changes with the DoT Nodes On The Tree.

prob won't be streaming much tonight, going to be hosting a party
Hi Pohx, enjoying the build a great deal now, hit level 43 and going to kill normal Dom tonight (playing on nemesis).
Just wondering how you go about dealing with life loss: every other character I've played has used LGoH or LL for sustain. Do we just spam pots?
Also, do we need to worry about anything with Dominus? I'm pretty confident, given I've got almost 1700 health, 1400 armour, and my staunching pots ready, but again, this is the first character I've done without health sustain.

Thanks for the great guide, too bad I can't watch your stream (Australian internet, I have a whole 8GB of downloads.....)

EDIT: Your thoughts on Divinarius? Looks like it would be killer in this build.

If What I'm saying Doesn't make sense right now it's because I'm Hii as shit, i'll correct it tomorrow when i'm fully aware of what's going on lol

To Deal With Constant -Hp Reduction Follow These Steps.

You have 5 Flasks you're able to run

1 + 2 Should be reserved for your life potions
You can make 1 a bubbling and 1 a seething if you want more overall regen.

3 Will be your defensive flask, regardless of it being a quicksilver or jade/granite, we'll use some type of flask with the suffix " Warding " to remove curses.

if you're managing your build properly with decent gear you should only need 1 mana Flask, we'll put that on 4,

That reserves your #5 For being another life potion, typically ( Saturated or Caustic ) Saturated will heal you a crap ton over time, so kind of like an insane Health Regen, The other one takes from your mana pool but heals you MORE then saturated over a quicker time.
Try to pair it with a Increased charge recovery if possible, and remember when you get mind / matter 30% of that damage goes to your mana and you have insane regen, sorry if the post is so long, I'm really unsure of what i'm saying right now

This is for leveling purpouses, when you get to end game you'll prob run 2 seethings/3 seethings or a panic flask

1 Life ( Bubbling )
2 Life ( Seething )
3 Warding
4 Hello i'm a Mana Flask
5 ( Saturated Potion )

Divi is fine as a starter weapon. However, you could find a better dagger with crit damage

Ah cool, this is basically the path i'm heading down at the moment: caustic, though, is genius, i think i'll hit that up now! Still got a while to go before I'm on EB/MoM, but my mana regen is going good. Crushed Dominus without too much worry, and almost up to cruel Dom now!

Cheers for the reply :)
