Zakaluka, neither this thread nor the feedback thread that Mark is talking about are valid statistically about what people think of partying given the current loot system. I think we agree with that, but I'm not sure why you quoted that post.
One thing is for sure though: you don't see 150+ pages threads in the forums of games that use instanced loot. The mere fact that this topic has raised so much passion during the beta cycle is enough in itself to show that there's a problem. I'm personally not looking forward to the flood of loot posts that will happen when we hit open beta. |

I propose you open a poll: "Game difficulty poll" and one of the option is to make the game easier. I bet you that you won't get >50% of the votes like in this case. People do vote even if they are happy with the current situation, and while I agree that there is a certain, unknown, number of players that like the FFA loot and don't visit the forum (and thus are not voting), but there is also an unknown number of people that play excusively singleplayer due to the FFA loot (or left the game and return to open beta) but don't visit the forum. Let me just ask you this: Do you honestly believe that the majority of players favor a (modified) FFA loot system over an instanced loot system? If you answer with yes, then what is the problem with a party-loot option? |

I'm saying 1)I dont know if there is or isnt. 2)A poll in a bias thread isnt going to tell you anything. 3)GGG already thought about this thread (because its the 3rd one like it) and said this is why we are doing it this way. Nothing new was stated in this thread. Like GGG says, just state why YOU dont party or why YOU do party and that's better info. Trying to get a poll of the god knows how limited and bias people to vote on is doing nothing. |

Just because they dont take YOUR feedback and make the changes only how YOU want it, doesnt mean they dont listen to feedback. About group loot poll. I group all the time in public parties and parties with friends, looting hasnt been an issue for me yet on it, in fact loot is the reason I group. To get MORE loot. |

That to me seemed like a stark contrast to the Firefall team where they are very interested to hear what you think and provide a survey to anyone trying the game in order to "help make it be the best game it can be". |

Pace meaning some are moving to quick, some are moving to slow. Some like exploring areas, some don't. Smoke breaks. Wife breaks. Kid breaks. Bathroom breaks. All pace related. Amazing that you go straight to loot timers. Which are a couple seconds. Even though I would prefer FFA and not the current system, but Cest la vie. |
