Group loot poll

current system is cool, but time should be extended for human reaction time, internet latency, slower hardware systems, distance from item (more that it is now) and possible missclicks or not registered clicks

make it 8 option if you can

Option 2 kinda fits what you are looking for...

From my experience, I dont want a general one-fits-all:

-the actual solution sometimes sucks in two ways: in a friendly party I'd like to switch off the timer completely, since it slows the fun down if you have to wait to pick an item that drops far away from the assigned player; but in an open party whith strangers it may force someones greed to see what drops for others. Greed can (and sometimes: will) also slow down the group play...

If with instanced loot the drop amount ends up equal to solo play for each char, it maybe helps to prevent abusing partyplay, and from this view I'd vote for 5+6 as options.

If there could only be one system, then I'd go with #5 for sure.

This being a game with many different people though, I'd say giving people the chance to choose their preference in which kind of loot system on a part-by-party-basis, would be the way to go :)

That being said though, I know me and the people I'd play with would just put a check mark next to the option described in #5 and never look back!
