I quit the game ages ago because of the XP loss, it just got to the point where it was disheartening to continue. Several of the people I got into the game also quit because of it. I just don't see the point of a death penalty in the standard league, if I wanted to play passively in fear of dying I'd play hardcore.
And yet you have not quit the forums....
Yeah, because the game isn't coming out of beta next week. I couldn't have just started reading the forum again because of that.
XP loss isn't being changed so your wasting your time.

Just because one thing I don't like isn't changing doesn't mean I'm not interested in the other changes. I'm not sure why it's any of your business though.

Or even better example - Ultima Online(best pvp game I've ever played /handsdown).. people could loot ALL your shit on death (you would drop all your items in pve death as well - gotta get a new horse and find your, hopefully, non-looted body). Was this holding me off of playing UO? Hell no, that was the BEST PvP experience I've ever had - very thought-provoking, adrenaline-full, complex, simply amazing PvP. And here people can't handle PvE penalty? Go hard or go home.
Then again, even UO was destroyed by catering to casuals. First blow was Trammel, second and final blow was insurance system. And that was way before gaming became a trend. I have high hopes for GGG however.

Maybe because your putting your "business" out on the forums for everyone to see? I comment where I have something to say, as always.
My opinion is if you disliked the feature enough to quit once then the same thing will probably happen again. If not then great, enjoy the game.
