at the end of the day it all boils down to two (or three, depending on how you see it) sides

1. lotteries are bad - because it "bypasses" the rng system instated by ggg and essentially guarantees a 6l sometime in the future with no real investment on your part (payouts being lower than the worth of 6ls, not using your own currency). also potential for scam
2. lotteries are good - because only an idiot would bother to waste their own time and resources attempting the near-impossible when they could crowdsource the work and "money". note that these people may not necessarily believe the rng system is flawed
3. lotteries are the commodified byproduct of a flawed "crafting" system - because the crafting process is not entropified and results in cockblocking by lady luck. this view is more of a corollary than a standalone viewpoint in itself because there are people who believe lotteries are wrong who uphold the economy/crafting and people who believe lotteries are right because of a bad economy/crafting and vice versa.

tl;dr -
lotteries are bad cuz that's not how ggg wants us to play
lotteries are good cuz ggg rigged the system, it's only natural to maximise efficiency and expenditure.
lotteries? why blame lotteries when the system is to blame

Thanks for the tips on fusing lotteries OP. While 6 linking yourself is an uphill battle it's something of personal pride that makes me want to do it myself. I chanced this thing the other day and got 6 sockets in less than 20 jewelers. I won't try to 6 link it until I have 500 fusings to throw at it. If it gets 5 linked first I think I'll call it good enough.
