no. you get can get that high dmg reflected AFTER leech. and there is nothing to leech back when you are not on IC.

Right. You just need enough ES to survive it. The second hit will restore you to full ES BEFORE taking damage again, so you wont die.

I was experimenting with cast on stun/enduring cry/immortal call.

The key, naturally, was to go solo. Running in a group it proc'ed rarely.

Running solo it procs, a _lot_. Since it only actually procs on about 1/2 the stuns, that means I was getting stunned a lot. Interestingly it proc'ed almost not at all against Kole (just once), but I might see it go off 3 or 4 times on some random mob. Whipping miscreations in particular seem to hit hard.

What I noticed when I switched to the eye is smoother attacks.

It's too bad, I have to give up a very tasty amulet to use the eye.

The cast on stun trick is still useful though if you can't afford an eye, it will definitely give you a better chance of surviving.

I was curious why you leveled up your CWDT on the ice nova - molten shell - vulnerability is it worth it? and also do I hook up IC or Aoe with CWDT & Enduring Cry?

In the ES build you don't use Carcass Jack, that's why I don't want to use conc eff.

Faster Attacks isnt the best gem for DPS.
I wonder, why you dont want to use blue gems... With your current setup, you will lose about 300 ES because of using hybrid chest (colours are impossible for pure ES)...
Use blue gems! Remove Faster Attacks, put Concentrated Effect and Increased Critical Damage, and you will have the best possible DPS setup, which is also possible to roll on pure ES chest (4 offcolours). You can partially bypass Concentrated effect's downside by investing into Witch AoE nodes (same effect as Carcass Jack, for 4 points, and you dont have to lose 500+ ES on gear).
Dont ignore crit on claws. Perhaps, they dont have as amazing crit passives as daggers do, but nevertheless, with proper build and gear, critical strikes will make the majority of your DPS.

sorry, i didn't notice that.

however, i would _still_ experiment with using concentrated effect. it is a really good damage multiplier.

the decreased aoe should not be too much of a problem.

I have a shiny new 5L carcass jack and rolled these colors.

what should i use for that last B ?

i've tried

power charge on crit
increased crit chance
increased crit damage

can't seem to figure out which is best as they all have their advantanges. right now my thinking is to use ice spear and PCoC to generate power charges and put increased crit chance in the carcass jack. the problem with that is that the charges don't last long. putting them in carcass would essentially ensure that i had PCs up all the time. advice appreciated.

meanwhile the build is coming along _very_ nicely. this was my first CI character, and i'm really happy with how it's progressing. i'm just about completely broke now due to buying gear for it, but that's ok, because it's doing so well.

and really, i have two words for you "vaal pact".

the difference between a leech build with it and without it is amazing - i had no idea just how amazing. i solo'ed kole the other day just for fun and stomped all over him even while I was debuffed with temp chains. and i think i've still got some gems that are only level 17.
