unplayable atm :(

/edit. so... i posted this after i entered a colonnade map... when i re-entered tat map (from lab) afterwards, the lags were gone... strange...

same here (EU, Germany, Bavaria and other states) Started Saturday/Sunday - Huge lag spikes nearly at every game interaction like moving stuff in and out of the inventory, klicking on stuff on the ground, attacking mobs...

A 50 ping is normal and perpectly playable. Right now it's over 100 with lag spikes to 400-1000 at interactions or every few seconds and 3 disconnects so far. Btw, I want my unique Mountain Ledge map back!!!!

As has been shown with the prior traces, there are issues within the DTAG network. You can run your own WinMTR to confirm you are having the same issues, but the issue lies outside of GGG control (they're not going to give you your map back).

If you experience problems with your connection, the best thing to do is to run the WinMTR and check to make sure it's not a problem with your ISP network. If it is, I'd recommend contacting them about the issue, then playing at your own risk.
Strange from 6pm to 11:30 pm latency is up from 180ms. After midnight latency is 60-80 EU instance.

So what I'm seeing across the board is that there is packet loss starting at 217.243.216.202 which is still within the DTAG network. That is something that DTAG will need to be notified for and resolve. It's happening within their network, so they are the ones who will need to fix it.

That isn't to say there aren't other problems later on in Level3 or otherwise, but it's hard to tell when the network in front of it is having issues as well.

Good luck.

Yupp, it's both, Frankfurt Level 3 and the DTAG / 217.243.216.202 IP ( it belongs to Deutsche Telekom AG), these 2 hops are causing my issues. However, it seems others also have some ping issues without going over Frankfurt and the 217.243.216.202 IP
Mysterious. ^^

However, I can play other games fine, Diablo 3 uses different routes through the net but also has some lags. However, we know that PoE reacts pretty critical to lags, D3 is much more forgiving (I mean real network lags, not skill caused de-syncs/rubberbanding) it just stops the scene when ping is to high while PoE always continues server-side so the PoE Mobs never stop too.
GGG really should adjust this, at least for "single player". If lag is to high and you get out of sync, just wait with the server until sync is done. At the moment, only the client seems to wait and we know this can be deadly.
