Balancing for pvp when pvp is basically in alpha stage is a joke. You could just wait until PVP is actually done be Time to take a break until the next ladder.

Removing the multiple gems "trick" is a bad decision itself, it was a fun mechanic that had a drawback of taking up lots of sockets and even links if you have 2 fire traps as main skill.

If the trap changes are in 11.6 why not save the cooldown changes till then?

Also if you want traps (read: traps only) to be viable I think the only way is to put more passives related to traps into the tree.

Please someone explain to me how this affects firetraps.

I use 2 firetraps in my weapon and 2 firetraps in my helmet. each firetrap has its own key on keyboard.

1. what happends to the Cooldown when i throw one firetrap?
2. is it still possible to set up 3 traps by skill gem?

1. When you throw firetrap (A), the cooldown will also affect and lock the use of firetrap (B). In other words, it's useless having firetrap (B)

2. You can throw up to 3 traps by skill gem when available, yes. But you cannot throw 3 traps coming from different skill gems.

I believe the armour types are cross-compatible. There's a lot of internal discussion about the merits of this.


You can wear get Razer-logo under your feet and a demon on your head, I think you will be alright with the armour-cross-compatibility. Lol
The only thing you can actually do if they finally go through with the gem instance..is to take the +1 trap passive in order to have 4 traps with 1 gem.

However...4 vs 6 ( or 8 )....doesn't really cut it.

Imho it's a very bad decision.
