Razer Footprints: Poll

That's extremely dismissive of other's opinions, but I'm sure you already know that.

It's just an observation of being on the general forums a lot.
It could be seen as dismissive, it could also be seen as truth.

The game is not real life. Razer is real life

Nothing prohibits anybody of looking at these footprints like they are a new randomly created mtx from GGG themselves. People just look for a reason to get upset, instead of being joyous for GGG. They look like the mtx for ethereal knives, so think of it as a theme footprints, nothing but yourself prohibits this thought process.

Ambivalence.

I gave my money to GGG through the supporter packs, to support the development of the game. They gave me a shiny kiwi in-game. Cool. I get to make a unique item with them. Sweet deal.

Razer and GGG made a deal. The results were:

-Razer gets an exclusive footprint (the Razer rune)
-GGG gets something in return

This pretty much looks like a "custom support pack", which is a good thing. Give this, we give you a custom footprint.

I mean, GGG does not fold to just anyone that has money. They make sure that it fits their principles on game design and development. It is a delicate balance, but I trust their decisions, because they have not failed to deliver, so far.


@MonstaMunch: When you said you bought a game and not expect an ad in-game, it becomes a matter of the business model. The game you got was Buy-to-play. Path of exile is Free-to-play; the absence/lack of ads in this game(and on other forms of media) actually scares me TBH. If little runes/footprints like these will help support POE, it wouldn't hurt. We have super shiny kiwis to break immersion anyway.

If by "people" you are referring to me, maybe you'd care to go back and check my post history a bit. I haven't gotten upset about anything since the first hacking thing started however many months ago that was. I'm generally very positive about the company and the game.

I care about this because I love the game. Providing support isn't just about waiving pompoms and singing praise every chance you get. It's also about giving honest feedback and opinions, and that's what I did.

ATM I don't really care, I mean its just footprints and they are free, but in some days everyone will have them and you won't be able to see the damn city because of green shining Razer footprints on the ground that 'll suck

WinXP users can't get them, it seems.

I think they're obnoxious, but whatever makes this company money.

On what basis do you say razer sucks? I've had my deathadder mouse for over 5 years. It's seen A LOT of use. Thousands of hours of click and swiping and being bashed when I get my game-rage on and it's still working brilliantly just like the day I bought it. My razer headset has amazing sound, excellent mic clarity and is so comfortable most of the time I forget I'm wearing it.

on a basis that i had a naga that started "faking" klicks after 4 months. and the fact that the dam keys on the "lycosa" (thank god it was a gift) started to... cant really say "melt", but something really close.

i´ll have to go with 5

i dont mind at all and whatever exposure poe gets is good, i do however think the footprints are too big for my taste but each to their own . have a razer lycosa keyboard and razer mamba mouse that ive had for over 3 years and they still work and are awesome so i greatly approve of the partnership itself .


and ggg please remember that whatever you do , WHATEVER you do you can not please every single player in this game
